How young is "too young"??

I think 2 is fine :) She won't remember it, but you will! Like others have said, she won't be able to ride a lot of the rides, but you'll still have a good time. and that'll give you an excuse to go back again soon after.

Completely agree with this. My girls were the exact same age as your little ones will be when they first went and even though my youngest DD (who was 2 at the time) doesn't remember the trip, she still had a great time doing things. We always said that that trip was mainly for our 4 year old because we knew we would be going back so that our littlest one could remember.

We took our daughter when she was 2 1/2 and she did everything she was tall enough to do and she had a great time. My wife did a great job useing child psycology thoughtout a few attractions like the Witch at Snow White and the Haunted Mansion, but loved them all. As I've posted before. Start out slow in Fantacyland, It's a Small World, Dumbo, Peter Pan, Carousel, work your way up to Goofy's Barn Stormer Roller Coaster. After that you should be good to go.

In my opinion "Disney's best secret" is children under 3 are FREE in the parks AND eat for FREE at the table service buffets. We took our 2 1/2 year old, hit all the parks and there was something our little one enjoyed at each park. We spend a half day at each park, got back to the hotel to give her a nap or use the pool and then went back to the parks in the early evening.

Our little one liked the child appropriate rides, loved seeing the characters (at a distance), the parades and shows.

The first time my youngest went he was 27 months. Everything that I missed with my oldest (the awe factor) because he is too much of a realist I got with the baby. :goodvibes

And, he might not remember everything, but he remembers enough. He remembers that Haunted Mansion was 'scary with ghosties' and he would only ride it once, but he's a big boy now and will ride it again if you ask him. :rotfl2:

He also looks at the pictures all the time and wants to talk about each and every one of them.

I wouldn't take back that trip for anything. Yes, stopping and changing his diaper was a pain in the heat. But, he went with it all, slept all night like a champ and never took naps (he's never been a napper though). He would get in the stroller when he was tired of walking or if it got really crowded, but we parked it most of the time and just walked.

You are the only one that can make the decision, but it's really a wonderful age to really GET the magic!
