how young is too young

It is up to you but I say nobody is too young :)
While the child may not remember it YOU and your husband will AND your child will get a sense of love and happiness. It's all good :)

We went to WDW for the first time this past April when youngest DD was 4 months old. BUT, we had other children (ages 6,9 & 13), so bringing her along was a no brainer. I also nursed (and still nurse) her, but had no problem finding areas to feed her. Only problem came in when DH waited for me to get off a ride with the other kiddies (he doesn't ride) and DD may have been a bit fussy. But overall, great experience! Plan on taking her back next year in April again!

We took our daughter when she was 11 months and again when she was 1 1/2. She says she remember it now (she's 3) but I think she just think she remembers because of the pictures.

I know she'll never remember it, but we have some great pictures of her. She saw so much that I know she liked and it was a great expereince for her and for us. We are taking our twin 14 month olds in 2010 so that should be fun.

Go, have fun, take lots of pictures and 20 years from now you'll never regret it.

liznbear, those photos were PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!!!! They just made my heart melt! His smile was so wonderful. :lovestruc

To anyone that ever says to me "why take a child that young (whatever age we're talking) because they won't remmebr it?" I say..would you leave you children at home in a closet, locked in their room or never take them out to see family, friends or the zoo becuase they won't remember it? I say they go where we go. A vacation is for everyone and just because one won't remember it doesn't mean everyone else has to wait. All experiences shape who we are no matter our age. And I don't want to wait until someone's arbetrary age of "acceptable" to go until I can go w/ my family.
Granted, some children are easier than others. Unlike liznbear's beautiful boy :lovestruc, my toddler rarely ever smiles. He was actually quite difficult on our trip a few weeks ago, BUT my oldest went at that age and we all had a wonderful time. My DH and my oldest just did far more this trip than my youngest and I did. I still enjoyed myself being at WDW and that was fine by me.

So a long as YOU are comfortable and able to roll w/ the punches, all the work and be flexible, there is no reason not to take them, at any age. :thumbsup2
