How you feel about Delta???

I have looked up SOOOOO Many airlines for the best price and this is the best
Delta $ 216.80 each
for March 23-27
Do you think they are a good airline to fly with.
I have never flown before and my DH has had a neg problem with them a few weeks ago so he is unsure. ( he had an unexpected layover for 6 hours )
I want to get there soon and SAFE.. I am willing to pay alittle more IF I have to BUT if Delta is good then I will stick with them.
What do you think???

I don't find Delta any better or worse than the other airlines. Every airline has problems now and then.

I just came back from WDW today. Flew Delta's Song and had a great flight both ways.

I've had good luck with Delta. I like their website (ease of use) and the staff has been helpful. ATL can be somewhat of an obstacle if the flights are less than 45 minutes apart.

For me, I guess I'm just comfortable with Delta. I'm familiar with their "hubs" (CVG, ATL and SLC) and have had good-to-great experiences flying out of 4 different airports going on vacations.

My airline of choice! They have always had GREAT customer service. If I have had a problem they handle it very nicely. If I have had a compliment they will let me know the correct person will receive the praise.

So, far I have never been let down.

I fly Delta or Jetblue. I have never had an Issue with either. I go with the least expensive of the two. I am flying down to MCO on Jetblue, and flying back up on Song. Both have the TV's in the back of the seats.

Oh if you fly a Song flight bring some headphones from home. They supply the ones that go in your ear and they fall out and apart easily.

We had two great flights on Delta Song this past year. We booked with them again for our upcoming trip this May.

This is a loaded question. At some point someone is going to respond.... "I had the worst experience of my life on Delta" Overall they are probably no better or worse then any other airline. I fly them weekly and like most they have days when things don 't go well, but overall I like Delta.

One more question............
I have a 1 year old that will be sitting in my lap. Do I need to Call Delta before we go on the trip to let them know or just tell them when we get to the airport that I have a 1 year old sitting in my lap?

You need to let them know in advance. There are seating restrictions with a lap child. It must also be noted on your boarding pass that you have the lap child.
