How would you spend your Disney night out?

Hi everyone! We have a trip planned with our toddler Oct 24-26. We’ve been several times with him and have had a blast, but of course our days revolve around his schedule.

This time though, my mom is able to come! When our little guy goes to bed around 7, she’s offered to stay in while DH and I can have a date night in the park!

The possibilities 😍🤔🤔

What would you do to make a fun evening of it? Granted, I’ve been a stay at home mom for three years, so a Corndog and dessert would be thrilling 😂😂 but how would you make the most of a long overdue night out with your honey?

Thanks everyone!

Which parks do you have reserved each day? My inclination would be to watch a nighttime show. I don't think Fantasmic will be happening those nights, but you could do World of Color on the nights where DCA doesn't close early for the Oogie Boogie Bash. You could try and get a dessert party reservation or do one of the dinner packages.

My goal would be to do something you can't usually do with your toddler. High on my list would also be rides like Guardians of the Galaxy and Space Mountain.

Thank you! The dessert party looks really fun - I’m intermittently checking dining reservations for this and sit downs also, we’ll see if anything pops up.

We have park hopper tickets, Disney for Monday, CA Tuesday, then starting in Disney again Wednesday. We’ll have Genie+ so I think a big ride will also be on our list 🤘🤘

What a treat! I would do something relaxing that you can't usually do with a toddler, like have a nice sit down dinner. Even a leisurely counter-service meal will feel fancy if it's just the two of you. I'd do WOC dessert party or Fantasmic premium dining. Then roam around the park and go on whatever rides you can't do with your little one. Just being alone will be very nice, I bet! I'd also stay out as late as possible depending on your mom's schedule. See the fireworks if you can, too.

Another fun option if you are Star Wars fans would be to head over to Galaxy's Edge and do Oga's Cantina. You could probably do it as a walk up if you were willing to wait.

But if it is on a night where DCA doesn't close early, then doing World of Color and a sit down dining reservation would be nice. If you want to go fancy you could try for Napa Rose over at the Grand Californian.

For dining reservations, you could try one of the dining alert websites if you don't have luck finding one on your own.

Enjoy! DH and I haven't had a date night in like 4 years so I'm loving that you'll have this chance.

I actually would do dinner at Napa Rose and then use an ILL's for a late night frolic on RSR's but we are in our late 50's so we are more laid back and enjoy less hectic nights out. Heck, just walking slowly through the park watching people is relaxing in it's own way.

That all sounds so great! Oga’s has been on my list for a while! We’ll see how long we last out there 😂😂 haha oh gosh. The vision of and reality of parenthood 😮‍💨

Totally agree! And that sounds right up our ally 🙌

A sit down dinner, preferably Napa Rose or even just bites at Carthay. A few adult bevs, maybe a few thrill rides. Watch fireworks. End the evening with dessert and a nightcap/coffee. Total chill mode.
