I have some items to sell...not sure if Craigslist or ebay would be a better route...getting ready to start the Disney fund! We just did a tag sale and I didn't put these items there.

- a new Vera Bradley Messenger Bag and matching Pocket Wallet in Daisy Daisy (so still a newish pattern),
- some extra toys I bought at the Kmart clearance thinking I would use for birthdays and didn't, like some of the vtech systems.
- Gymboree summer clothes (new) that I know won't fit next year (would you wait until the spring to list??)
- vintage cookbooks from the 50s and 60s that my mom unearthed

I am thinking Craigslist to try to avoid fees, but not sure if "new" items would sell there. I know when I look at Craigslist, it's mostly used items. I've only sold used on Craigslist so far.

either Craigslist or yard sale

ebay, but wait until spring
- vintage cookbooks from the 50s and 60s that my mom unearthed
ebay, vintage cookbooks do well on there

Try Craig's List first. Reason:

  1. Local Audience
  2. No Commissions

I think you can still return the K-Mart toys if you bought them in July; my receipt said I has 90 days. To me, it's much easier than trying to sell second hand.

you can still return the Gymboree stuff too. If you don't have a receipt they can do a CC look up and give you your money back.

Why didn't I think of that?? GREAT ideas!! THanks for the other tips too...at least now I know where to start! :)
