Hi all! I need some help from the experts. We will be going to WDW for 5 nights, with a 5 day park hopper this August (13-18/Sunday-Friday). We will have 4.5 days in the parks starting the 13th, and we were wondering how you guys might schedule these days if this were your trip. We’d like to also spend some time enjoying the Grand Floridian or other resorts/dining if anyone has tips! Thanks!

Rope dropping really can be your key to getting a lot done--- and then resting for the afternoon and going back out. But that takes a lot of effort for everyone to get up and out the door and be right there with a plan!

So without knowing who your party is/ages/interests, where you're staying and which parks/attractions are must do's for you, I'm giving you an example of what I would do based soley on the days of the week. We often go for anywhere from 1 park day to 4 park days, with 3 or 4 park days being our sweet spot. Many times we don't hop and we still get accomplish a good bit and we're not early risers. We usually only PH for trips that are less than 3 park days.

We usually do our longer days, EEH or parties earlier in the trip before exhaustion sets in. We're a family of 4, parents/teens so we are not really early birds and we usually stack LL's/iLL$ for later in the day. If you do AK, don't hop to AK, start your day there since the park closes early. Book MK or DHS for most of your days to start in since you can easily hop anywhere and these would be the more likely parks to have reservation limitations, if any but in reality having hoppers, you really don't have to be locked into anything given you can hop post 2pm. Keep tabs on the park hours, special events, parties as you get closer to the date to adjust esp if you'll be a disney resort guest and want to take advantage of ETPE/EEH if deluxe. If you do plan to buy G+, make sure you're familiar with how to use it when hopping. It's pretty easy but if you've not used it before, it can be confusing. We don't buy G+ for Epcot or AK, only DHS and MK make $$ wise sense for us. We will buy iLL$ for these two parks but it's not a good bang for our buck since there's just not enough attractions that it's necessary/needed. Again, all this depends on which parks you want to spend the most time in but you can be pretty fluid having PH.

Option A

Sunday 13- DHS or MK
14-Epcot
15-DHS or MK
16 Rest day (you could move your rest day up to the 15th it's really not integral it be on the 16th)
17-AK
Friday 18- MK

Option B (we don't always hit AK so if you're like us and not feeling AK right now, here's another option)

Sunday 13- DHS or MK
14-Epcot
15-DHS or MK
16 Rest day (you could move your rest day up to the 15th it's really not integral it be on the 16th)
