.....if a complete stranger used your (occupied) child's stroller to lean on during a parade?

Probably not well. I would tell them in no uncertain terms to GET OFF MY CHILD! But I am not big on people being in my bubble either.

I probably would have smiled and said, "Let me move this out of your way a little."

I probably would have pulled it out from under him....... but I'm mean, and you DO NOT touch my stuff or my kids..... another kid is one thing, but an adult should know better, its my stroller, not your leaning post...... (told you I was mean ;) )

People leaned on and stepped on our unoccupied strollers during the Star Wars parade. (The kids couldn't see, so we had to hold them up.) DH has a very intimidating angry face. He just looked at the people who stepped in/on them and they moved to another area to watch the parade. ;)

I'm apparently not as good at it. I had my stroller parked next to the bench outside of The Land. When I came out there was a gigantic--like suitcase sized-- duffel bag on the hood of my stroller. As I approached the stroller furious that it was probably broken this guy on the bench says, "Oh is that your stroller. Let me move my bag". He said this all nicely with a smile like it was no big deal. What would make someone think that's okay? The whole rest of the bench was free to put his bag on, or he could have set it on the ground. :confused3

I do not like my space being invaded and being at disney enough has taught me that space there's no such thing. People will push shove and squeeze into any space to get a better view, and I find adults are worse then kids:confused3. I agree just say something like o can I move that if theres space for you to do that or kind of move around your stroll like your checking on your kids or getting something and then stand right where they were standing that works great.

I would help them locate the nearest light pole. There is no reason for that unless they are close to fainting...

I would've asked him if he was comfortable on my kid? WTH is that? That's too comfortable and kinda scary, what if he had made a break for it with your kid. nah huh. I don't play that.

Oh my gosh - I would have been furious!!! I would have out right asked him what would ever make that okay, even if it wasn't your stroller? It wasn't his, so what would ever make that okay???:scared1:

I would have told him to get the bleep of my kid's stroller. Are you kidding me? Then I would have had to give her a dollar for saying bleep.

That did happen to us several times last time we went. People for whatever reason would lean on or hang onto the handle bars of our stroller. I guess it didn't bother me. The parades are packed, and we usually get there early to get a close up spot, so it's not like they are going to go anywhere with it. Plus me or my DH are right next to it. I did think it was a little odd at first, since I would never even think to do that, but I wouldn't say I was upset by it. Then again, it usually takes a lot to upset me, expecially in the happiest place on earth!

I would not be happy at all. I was annoyed last year because someone kept sticking their hand out with the camera in front of my face to take pics as I was standing behind the stroller. Someone else, at another parade, actually inched his way in front of the stroller and I had to keep saying "excuse me but the kids can't see!" Grown adults!! it's very annoying.

It would absolutely annoy me and I think it's beyond rude, however I doubt I would say anything, just because I'm not big on confrontation, and it's really not worth it.

I would probably say "excuse me" and move in to where I should have been standing (we usually have one person stand behind the stroller).

Now, unoccupied, well that would have been weird, as if it were unoccupied it would have been folded up and one of us would have been holding the handles or have the strap over our arms. Would be quite odd to have someone lean on THAT!

all I know is I have seen them tip over, :scared1:l so I guess I would politely say, excuse me, could you refrain from leaning on the stroller, its tipped in the past,Thanks.
Hopefully they would then NOT do it further. I know people get tired, but can't they hold a person instead??? :confused3

I'm not good at confrontation, but I would have been a little mad and I would have moved it around a bit. Just enough to get the person's hands to fall off.

Little kids, I would probably just say "You can't lean on that/sit on that" and smile nicely. If they continued to do it I would ask the parents nicely to have them stop. If they still continued to do it I would tell the parents, "Look, I asked nicely, either you make your child stop or I will". I'm not talking about my toddler playing with another toddler, I'm thinking more of the school ager that tried to sit on my baby.

I've also had a grown up try to use the front bar on my stroller as a seat and I shoved the stroller to make them fall and said something very unpleasant to them. NO EXCUSE whatsoever to sit on my kid and in fact I find it downright creepy that anyone would even think that was okay.
