How would you get from POFQ to AKL?

We have a 6:10 reservation for Boma next week after taking an afternoon break at POFQ. What do you think is the best way to get there AND back?
I've thought about:
--Arrive by bus to AK, then bus or boat to AKL and Return after dinner by bus to DTD then boat back to POFQ
--Another suggestion was to take a cab

What do you guys think??
Thanks so much!

The easiest is certainly to take a cab, since there is no direct Disney transportation between the resorts. If you want to save the money then, I would take the bus to the AK and then bus to the AKL. On the way back, if a park is still open, I would take a bus to the park and then switch to the POFQ bus. This will probably be faster than going to DTD. But once again a cab would be the faster way back.

Good suggestions from brentalex.

A couple other ideas...take a boat to DTD and spend some time in DTD, then bus to AKV.

Or, bus to AK and spend some time in AK, then bus over to AKV. This is what we are doing in December when we go to look at holiday decorations.

Most likely Epcot will still be open when you are finished with dinner so you can change buses there for a reasonably expeditious trip back to French Quarter.

You may want to avoid changing at a park that is in the process of closing.

At the end of April 09, I took a cab from POR to AKL for my Boma ressie. It was around 25.00 including tip. I loved it, fast and easy. That's how I'll probably go resort to resort from now on.

I have a DS who's 4...would i have to carry his booster/car seat with me in the cab?
We will have our vehicle...could we drive to AKL? Will resorts allow guests from other resorts to park and eat?

If you have your own car I would certainly drive rather than doing the hour long disney transportation two step. Yes, you are allowed to park for a dinner reservation. When you get to the gate just tell the gaurd you have a reservation and they will let you in.

Also note that you can drive your car to any of the theme parks if you choose. Since you are an onsite guest parking is FREE at the theme parks.
