Weird question, I know.
I'm a new, overprotective, worry-wort father. We have ticks EVERYWHERE right now, it seems. And we've got two dogs. I've found a few around, and I'm paranoid that it's just a matter of time before one ends up on our daughter. (She's 10-months old, btw).
My wife just rolls her eyes whenever I bring it up, (she says I'm paranoid and over-protective, but we've already been over that. I cop to it.) but I'm really freaked out by ticks and spiders and stuff like that.
So... How would you do it?
And just because I can, and I'm a proud dad, here's a pic of my DD Katie (tick-free):

I don't mind spiders, I see why they are needed, but ticks??????? Hate them! I wish they would disappear!
but Katie is so cute!! look at those little cheeks!! there so pinchable!!!
