How Would You Do This?

I need some help trying to figure out the best way for one in our party of nine to return to the airport in the midst of all the fun. Yes, we have a car if we absolutely must leave in the middle of the day and drive him, but we really prefer not to do that. Mears does not service the timeshare we will be using, so that is not a direct option.

The two things I have come up with thus far is: (1)We could all go to one of the water parks for the morning and have him take a shuttle to one of the Disney hotels and catch Mears there. (2) All go to Disney Quest and then have him go to one of the DTD hotels and catch Mears there. The glitch with that is we may have used our DQ tickets prior to that day if we run into some bad weather and need something to do. (3) Alternatively, we could do Universal that morning if it's more doable from there. I doubt we'll do a Disney Park because his ticket would be really wasted if he had to leave by noon.

Any suggestions? Is any of this doable?

Thanks.

Why don't you do a Character Breakfast for the latest seating possible (I think 10:30).....try either the Poly, Contemporary or Beach Clubs....and have him take Mears from there??????? When you are finished your breakfast you can explore the resort & then head off with him to catch Mears....then the rest of you go on off to a park once he leaves????? That is a nice send off too...... a good breakfast with "Character" LOL!!!

That thought never even crossed my mind! I will have to pose that option. Since all five children are teens, though, I am not sure how it will be received. I like the idea, though.

I have a 10, 14 & 16 and the 16 yr old enjoys the character meals just as much as the 10...and the 16 is a boy who hates to come to Disney with me LOL!! That is about the only part of going that he enjoys.... If your family isn't into a character meal, you can do any breakfast & expore the resort.
