How would I know what color eyeliner would look best

Well having no clue what you look like, I'm gonna tellyou what I wear....brown, charcoal or black. Depends on what I'm wearing and where I'm going.

All I know is that I read purple looks really good with brown eyes, I used to love wearing it and still do sometimes. I didn't pay much attention to what colors compliment other eye colors, so I can't offer any more help there. If you're not feeling bold black, brown and blue are classics.

If you have green eyes, brown really makes them pop.

I think its almay that makes a color coded set for blue, green, and brown- hazel eyes. I know that navy/indigo blue looks good on anyone and actually makes the white of your eyes brighter. I think the biggest key to eyeliners is not to overdue or leave harsh lining....blend-blend-blend!

I have hazel greenish eyes and I wear moss greens, grays, onyx/black, navy and plum colors to inhance.

Off topic, but I was told by a make-up consultant to use a bronzer in place of a blush to give a warm natural glow and to powder with a highlighting powder. Something transluscent.HTH
