Just curious - how will you vote in the coming elections?

Rich::

Hmmmm probably Tory but possibly Lib Dem

:)

Innit nice how the poll colours match up with the parties? Woot woot! :banana:

Rich::

Im not sure yet, however the only thing that is certain, is it WONT be for Labour.

We live in one of the "Swing seats" constituancies, so we will definately be voting. We have had camera crews here all already as traditionally, whoever wins here, wins overall.

This is the first time that I am truly undecided (I usually vote Conservative, but cannot abide Michael Howard).

Less talk, more action!

we wont be here so phoned our local elections office (council) if thats right ?and they are sending out forms for us to vote by proxy.....
i have to vote otherwise i would never forgive myself if smarmy gets in again and i didnt do anything about it!!!!!!

how will i vote? well probably labour........ def not the conservatives, but might think about the libdems... i'll just weigh it all up between the 2.

Labour- Dont fancy the cuts in public spending under the Tories and the demon headmaster thank you!

Enjoyed the remark from one of the Labour MP's in PMQ's today: the Tories are the party with something of the "Flight" about them!! :rotfl2:

i voted labour last time.....not sure now though?? them or the lib dems def not michael howard!

I'll probably vote Labour, I can't stand that smarmy Michael Howard, but if the Libdems looked like they could win - then I'd like to vote for them

I DO fancy lower taxes, cleaner hospitals, more police, controlled immigration and fairer taxation on smaller businesses. Most of all I DO want rid of the rediculous "Child Trust Fund" which is a complete waste of money and a total election gimmick. Isn't it strange how after years of planning the "Child Trust Fund" policy Labour makes payments to about 2 million families at almost exactly the same time as the next election. Why don't they spend the money on improving the declining standards of state schools and reducing class sizes?

Don't worry, he won't hurt you... yet ;)

I think we have much more interesting political leaders than the US - sweaty teethed Tony, vampire Michael or champagne Charlie :p

.............sorry, dont know how to quote twice in the same message without doing a very bad job with the code!

How can you lower taxes AND have more police without cutting public spending in other areas (such as the NHS thus making cleaner hospitals more difficult to achieve) over what Labour would have spent in total in 6 years time by 35 Billion pounds? And Labour have made huge strides in improving hospital cleanliness with, to take MRSA as an example, the number of cases halving; MRSA incidentally is a problem which first came to light 20 years ago- with the Conservatives in power.

:wave:

Might I just point out that the Liberal Democrats have addressed those problems in a fairly simple if condescening way - replacing ID cards with twice as many new police as the tories have promised, for instance.

That being said, can you see Charlie in power?

Rich::

I can see this might get nasty........................

I don't vote at all. I know that means I can't moan about whoever is in power but I really can't decide. I think they're all a bit rubbish and never do what they say they will.

I might regret saying that........
