How will the current bounce back offer affect summer crowds in 2017?

We have really enjoyed our July trips the last couple of years based on crowd levels and long summer park hours. We have also gotten great rates on deluxe resorts for that time period.

Now that the free dining bounce back offer includes parts of June and July (and based on past years' offers, the same free dining offer for the same dates will likely be extended to the general public), do you think that crowds will noticeably increase for June and July 2017? Or will the heat and the world economy be enough to keep a lot of people away for those times? Do you think late September crowds will drop significantly since the free dining bounce back offer ends September 10 for 2017?

Trying to decide whether to book a bounce back for next summer.

Bounce back offer ends Sept. 10 2017, but I'm ready to bet in a few weeks a new one comes out for Sept. to Nov. as it did the last few years.

As for booking, I'd say do it, it's only 200$ to secure the reservation, and you can cancel up to a month before the trip.

I didn't realize that the bounce back dates ever changed once they had come out. It will be interesting to see what is available when we are there in September.

Part of the logic I'm seeing (on the dates) is the bounce back is to boost sales and bc fall is now very busy, there is no need to offer a bounce back for that time frame. With attendance down this summer, the theory is that WDW needed to boost sales (for the same time frame next year).

All of this is speculation, of course, that I've read about here and there, so take it with a grain of salt.

I thought the free dining bb ended Sept. 30.
