How will the AP event on the Nov. 14 affect the crowds?

It probably will have a small effect. It's purposely on a quiet Monday. Most won't be able to show up until after work. It may not have enough people coming to be noticeable.

Interesting take, Matt. Given that it's the first official day of the DLR Holiday Season, I've been wondering if it's gonna be rather crowded that day. It's also our first park day for our upcoming trip. I think that since it's the first time that the season opens on a Monday, nobody really knows how crowded it will be.

I've been wondering the same thing! We were hoping to have a mellow Monday since we know the weekend will be nuts, but with the start of the season, who knows. Now I'm just hoping Tuesday (our last day) will be mellow before we have to go home. We're coming again in May and I've never been during a particularly busy time (aside from saturdays in general), so we're bracing ourselves!

Two things about that day.
It's may be the official opening day for the Holiday Season, but starting Friday they have the Fireworks going already, Monday is when the parade begins.
It's a Monday not like Friday when Halloween starts. Also the hours are only 10-8 so Disney isn't expecting to accomodate crowds.

I also think the hours are only 10-8 because they have that special event. But then, I don't think they would have planned a private AP event for that night if they were expecting large crowds...could be wrong though?
