How will I know you?

Ok, you can tell I'm a newbie. We will be staying at VWL from July 15-22. How will I be able to tell who is a Dis'er or not? Is there a secret to be able to identify all of you out there?

There is a secret handshake and password, but I don't know if I can trust you enough to let you in on them. How do I know your not another one of those Universal people trying to break our ranks! So for now all I'll say is welcome to the Dis!

Many DISers wear some sort of lime green (there's even t-shirts and buttons that you can purchase on this website.) Other than that... we all look just like everyone else!!!
Check out the thread of all the people that are going in July. There's a full list at the end that lists everyone that will be there, the dates that they will be there and the resort that they are staying in. If you're really interested in meeting, you can always send someone a private message.
I'll be there at the same time as you... over at BWV from the 11-22.

I'll tell you! The official color of the DIS is lime green. Unfortnately, it is also a popular color, so there is no way to know for sure, unless they are wearing official DIS shirts or something. Some people make their own name tags from the lime green Mickey Head paint samples from Home Depot. I have also heard of people setting up DIS meets in the parks. Hope that helps!
