How & who did you choose what photographer to use?

I just sent you a PM with the info, I was able to get in, I think it's because they are changing their website.

I chose Vicki and David - at the time, they worked for Disney and I had to have disney photography for my in park wedding.

HOWEVER, they left disney photo before my wedding and I FOUGHT to keep them! We loved them from the minute we met them!

They always know what the other is thinking and it makes for really great photos. We have sooooo many pictures that we love - it's hard to pick out for our album.

You cant go wrong with David and Vicki!!

I already said how much I loved David and Vicki and their great work- before you sign with anyone, look at their website and talk to them- they will make you feel like part of their family and you'll feel the same way! Check out jspahns TR for samples of their work. I loved the slide show they did for her and the pictures were stunning!

I think all the photographers have different packages and prices and are more than willing to send you the information if you request it. You can request it by contacting them through their websites. I'll be happy to PM you with the information that I have.

if you are getting married in the Disney parks, you are limited to Disney- assuming you are not in the parks in which case I would definitely recommend David and Vicki- they were great at my daughter's wedding.

Yay David and Vicki!! Even though I only have two thumbs, I give them three thumbs up!!

David and Vicki did family portraits for our family in January and they are GORGEOUS!! There are a few on their website under "Family" but here are a few for you!

Aww thank you! Yeah, my nephew is quite the little ham for pictures!

They ARE doing our wedding!! I'm so excited!

Misty fan here. I always loved her work and once I spoke with her we clicked. I love her passion and her husband works with her as well. My father is a skilled photographer as well and he was very impressed with her and he is hard to impress lol.

1 1/2 years later I still look back and love my photos and feel that she captured the happiness and laughter of the day so I know I chose the right person. Like pezaddict mentioned I actually wanted someone who edited my photos- I like the look of that and I want it done with a gentle hand. I feel Misty uses photoshop to enhance the beauty of the picture. SOme people like traditional photos with no editiing and taken in a very straighforward fashion. That is not for me.

The advantage to the boards is the reccomendations we can all provide on the photogs and other items. Meet with the photograpers, or at leats speak with them. Understand they will show you their best work so do as much research on your own too and go with your gut and you probably will not regret it!

We have become friends on Facebook and it is really nice getting the occasional "Hi, how are you" message. Also having their photos has made it easier to show the people in our wedding their amazing work. Because they have done so many weddings, Vicki has also become a guide to answering some of my questions that don't even relate to photography and has made suggestions and pointed me in the right direction.

I did contact Randy, the Roots and Studio 22. All were also very nice but for the quality of work and the price (I don't understand how they charge so little for their work, but I'm not going to complain), I'm set with David & Vicki!

We have chosen David and Vicki too for our vow renewal!

I saw them reccomended on here looked at all the photos I could on the site and the package they have done for me is just right in price and features. They are doing our vow renewal and then a photo session at a disney beach resort afterwards. Vicki is so wonderfully friendly, and we are also facebook friends! We are booked for October already I cant wait ;-)

We are on a tight budget though, so some were just far too much for us.

Yes, you have to go with them for any "in park" photography.
If you are having your wedding at the Pavilion, SBP, YCG, etc. you can use outside photography. I think we've heard on here that DPS will try to give you who you request but they won't guarantee it.

I am using DPS (so I cannot vote since it isn't an option ) since I am having an in park wedding. I requested Joe, Amy and Regina for the ceremony/bridal portraits (I am paying for extra photographers), and I think I already have Mike assigned for Typhoon Lagoon (trash the dress) since he usually does it (according to Disney).
