How & who did you choose what photographer to use?

I booked the photographer with the AWFUL email responses, lol!! So I know exactly who you are referring too! I just laugh it off because I love the work he or she does ( I don't want to mention who it is, as it may turn some off). The emails are horrible and there is no use of punctuation...

At the end of the day it is the photos that matter to me, not how well schooled the photographer is!

We decided to go with Randy Chapman, even though he can't be at our reception at the Living Seas. He's going to put some of our own (guests') shots in our album - great compromise, and much less expensive and more our style than going with Disney.

For a while, I was sure I was going with Randy Chapman. He does beautiful work and was very well recommended. After Emily came on here and posted her photos taken by Misty, I just knew that I had to have her! She had such a different eye than I had seen and a feminine touch. She was relatively inexpensive for what we got and she even stayed after to get some final shots!

Compared to NY photography, she was top notch! The only regret is that my sister did not fly her up to NY to photograph her wedding!

I am with you! It was between Misty and Randy, but after seeing tons of Misty's photos I knew I had to have her and no one else! Plus, I kind of felt that Randy was really pushy when it came to trying to sell me on his services. I just inquired about pricing and I got fliers in the mail, phone calls, and emails for weeks. I am soooo glad I went with Misty! Our wedding was 2 weeks ago, and she already sent us a sneak peek, and we are THRILLED so far! We have the coolest photos of any wedding I have ever seen. My father does photography for fun, and he was extremely impressed by her. We only had her for 4 hours, but she is QUICK! She stayed extra, and even came with us to our resort to get in extra shots. I was so impressed that she came with us, to a place she'd never been before, and was able to think of amazing pictures to take on the spot. I can't say enough nice things about her and her husband, they were fantastic!

I am completely mind boggled!

I have looked at several photographers mentioned on this site and I just don't know which one to go with.

How and who did you choose?

Some are way more expensive than others and I want to know if this really makes a difference. Do you really get what you pay for?

I am going with Chapman photography-I have heard nothing but wonderful things about Randy and he was very reasonably priced as well. His work (that I've seen on the Dis) is so beautiful. He also seems like a great guy so far, which is important to me in a photographer!!
