Hi Everyone,

I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I have designed an invitation I would like to have printed for us. I want a foldable card style, that will have a full front picture with writing over the photo and the inside colored paper with black print writing. My question are:

1) what type of print company to use?
2) how do I get my invite from my computer to the printer? It is currently done on microsoft office word 2007.
3) will the print company have envelopes to purchase?
4) is there a minimum amount of invites you must purchase?

Thanks to anyone who can help me out here. And I am loving reading along with everyone past, present and future brides. :) DH and I will be renewing our vows for our upcoming 30th anniversary. That's why I would like to print these invites. TIA!!

I'm planning to get my invites custom designed. So I've been looking online at different print shops.

So far, I'm leaning towards trying Cards & Pockets: http://www.cardsandpockets.com/. They have a print shop that will do custom printing on a variety of papers. You can also buy a lot of envelopes and invitation folders that will coordinate. From what I can tell, you upload your file to their site. You can order samples as well.

Has anyone out there used Cards & Pockets? I'd love to hear feedback from actual users.

I use a company called OvernightPrints.com for all of my print needs. I'm planning on using them for my wedding that I'm beginning to plan now. I also use them for all of my print needs for my design business. Everything from business cards to post cards to invitation cards like you're looking for. They will even send you envelopes as well for a small fee. (Usually $2.50 for every 100 cards.)

vistaprint is great for custom invites! thats where i got mine!

A couple of disbrides found a groupon for vistaprint so we're using them and all out invites came out to 50 bucks with shipping using that groupon!! =) I can't imagine spending more then 100 for invites that are just going to be tossed in the trash x_x; If you have the money I guess, but nope, not this girl. :rotfl:

A friend of mine also getting married at Disney just sent me a std from them and it looks real good!

thanks everyone. Anyone know if any of these places can "reduce" the size of an 8.5 x11 into a fold invite (similiar to a greeting card)?
TIA
