How where the crowds 3/4-3/18?

For all the early spring breakers, how crowded was it. I'm in the process of researching to go before Thanksgiving or early spring break. I like some help deciding.

my family and i went march 4th - 10th..... it wasnt bad at all...... we didnt wait more than 20 min. for a ride without a fastpass....and with a fastpass we didnt have to wait at all..... the only thing that was crowded was after the fireworks at the end of the night..... but we still didnt wait more than 20 min. for a bus to take us back to our hotel..... i really had a great time and i will deffinatly go back next year at the same time...... vicki

We went 3/5-3/11. On the final weekend of 3/10-3/11...crowds increased alot due to a cheerleader event and of course the beginning of other's spring break. The whole week of 3/4-3/9 was excellent...shhh don't tell everyone! Cool at night and one night was in the 40's when we stayed at Epcot for fireworks! Our spring break will be later next year but we are not planning a Disney trip for awhile so it doesn't matter. I highly recommend early March!

world trip from 3/08 - today (flew back early this morning).

When we arrived last Wednesday, we went to MK and it was incredible. We walked on or had very little wait for everything. At worst, like at Splash Mountain, we walked to the loading area and had to wait through five or six load cycles.

The first noticable increase in crowds started appearing on Sunday when crowds at MK had increased considerable, but were still very managable. We were back at MGM for a while on Wednesday in the morning and it seemed to me the busiest of the trip, but some frieinds that stayed until closing said it seemed like wait times decreased later in the day.

We have taken four trips now at different times in March due to Spring break(s) and I would say all of the attendance calendars that I have seen are spot on... first week of March- very light crowds. Second and third weeks of March- Moderate to increasingly heavy crowds. Fourth week of March through the third week of April- very heavy.

I think that I am going to try and plan our next trip the week(s)after the kids get out school for summer. Our schools let our the second-third week in May and I have heard that if you can go before the first of June, the crowds are light.

Thanks. Our spring break in the past has been the first week of March, which I know that not very many schools are out then. So I was thinking perfect timing. But they changed up the calendar for next, pushing our spring break back a week which is when most of Texas and alot of the southern schools have it. Don't want to go then.
