Hi all! I've been lurking for a few weeks now, but our cruise is less than 2 weeks off now, so it's time to come out of hiding :)

I got a great deal thru vacations2go.com for our 4 night 1/20 cruise. I asked for connecting rooms for my family and my in-laws, but they said with that rate they could not guarantee any room assignments. They cross-referenced them and that's all they could do. Well we got our docs in the mail, and we're not even on the same deck! I'm assuming we could request connecting rooms at the port, but I was wondering if you thought I could call DCL ahead of time to change them?? Should I just wait? I'd like to get it straightened out ahead of time so I can send gift baskets, but I dunno if that's possible or not.

Thanks so much for any help and information!!! I'm sure I'll have a few more questions before we leave :)

I definitely think it's worth a phone call to try. Sometimes requests fall through the cracks. If they are unable to accommodate your request at this time then I would ask again when you get to the port. It never hurts!

Have a wonderful trip!

I am a firm believer in calling and asking...the worse they can do is say "no!" Better to ask early, and if you are denied, you can always ask again later.

If you have booked through a travel agent and not directly with Disney Cruise Line, they most likely will not be able to assist you on the phone. They will likely refer you back to your TA. This has been their policy since the beginning. Good luck.
