I just wanted to get an idea of how the crowds were this past March
approx 9th - 20th.

Since Easter is almost the same time next year, I was thinking of a trip early March.

Thanks for the info.

We were at MK the 8th and MGM the 10th. Crowds were heavy, but not packed shoulder to shoulder. We had about 35 minute wait for Dumbo! Good Luck!

We were there this year from March 10th-19th. The crowds grew progressively heavier as the week wore on, but I thought they were manageable. We were even able to make some last minute changes to our ADR's. We headed to the parks in time for Rope Drop and left them right after lunch (most days). On the days we stayed into the afternoon at the parks, these were the times we found the parks to be overwelming. We followed TGM's tips and they worked like a dream!

We were there from March 12th-19th. I agree w/ everything emma'smom said. I would definately go again during this time of the year. The weather was wonderful!

We were there last Saturday and it was crowded, but not awful. We walked in MK Saturday afternoon and turned around and walked right back out because it was mobbed there. We went to Epcot instead and it wasn't bad there at all. We also had no problem getting a priority seating for dinner at Epcot just a few days before. At about 9 pm, we hopped back to MK and it was much better. The sign for Space Mountain said 60 minutes and we walked right on...

I went 3/5-3/12 in 2005... it was the least crowded week I have ever been to WDW! We didn't wait more than 20 minutes for anything-- in both WDW and Universal/IOA. We stayed onsite and didn't have any long waits for buses either. The weather is iffy...we were lucky and had warm days in the mid 70's, but chilly at night. It only rained once.

We were there March 11-15 and found the MK to be crowded, but the other parks were fine. I have found over the years that it seems that MK is always crowded, more and more every year. We did EMH in the MK until 3 am on the 12th and had a blast. My kids have always wanted to do this (they are older) and we finally had the chance. The weather was wonderful and I would not hisitate to go at that time again (we have been before at that time just for info). As for Easter, well, we've been there during Easter and I have to say that whenever Easter is it's going to be very crowded. I would no let this stop you especially if you have been before. It's getting harder and harder to plan a non-crowded time for WDW. We are still going by school schedules as are a lot of other people. Don't worry, just go and have a great time.

ENJOY!!

We were there March 18-24. We only went to the parks two days **gasp**. MGM on Monday, and MK on Wednesday. I thought the crowds were very low in the morning. We took a break each afternoon. MGM was hectic Mon pm. It was extra magic hours. We saw the 2nd show of Fantasmic. Hint - do not wait in the massive line that forms. They didn't let people in until about 20 minutes before the show. We should've waited until 10 minutes before the show to enter the theater. The lines for the rides were long, so we just did a bit of shopping after the show. Lots of places closed early, tho.

MK was very manageable on Wed. Got there right at opening. Did lots of rides. Got Fastpasses for later. Took a couple hours break and returned in the evening. Did the rides even during Spectro. The lines for Big Thunder were non-existant. It was GREAT! Rode it 3 times without waiting. Then onto Splash - no line!

So - go early, take a break, go back in the pm, and avoid the parks with Extra Magic Hours!

We were there the 1-7 and it was incredible easy load. The longest we waited for anything was 20 minutes for Dumbo.

The ESPN weekend on Sunday was a bit heavy at MGM bu they weren't riding rides just clogging the street.
