How We Fell in Love with WDW - Day 7 - Universal

I always end up having to buy dry clothes in the shops just outside those wet rides in IOA.

Hi Torise

I am loving your trip report so far - Is day 7 where you are up to or am I missing Day 8 onwards???

You are going to have such a magical wedding - we are staying at the GF for 3 weeks in August and I just can't wait - that is not nearly as exciting though as a wedding!!!! I am going to pop over to your wedding report and have a catch up with where you are up to.

I am so pleased you loved WDW. We went to DLRP twice in 6 months so I hung out over on that Board for a while so had often read your TR's etc over there. I had always been a huge WDW fan and am looking forward to my 12th visit this year. I did have fun at DLRP and loved the convenience of popping on the Eurostar but its just not quite the same as Orlando!! I think it is because Orlando has so much else to offer??

Can't wait to read more xx

Thank you especially for the photo of all the superheroes. You've mae DS (4)'s day. I'd just been telling him that we were going to where Spiderman and his friends live and now he believes me! (I'm busy telling him that I can't promise he'll see them all when we go!)

Lookig foward to going to IOA now so thanks

I agree with a little of what you said about US+IOA,i find the park/restaurants don't seem as spotlessly clean as Disney,i seem to find 'dog-ends'+beer can's over the park area's at UNI+IOA,the staff don't seem to go out of there way for you-although i must say i have NEVER had a rude staff member-just staff who have given me wrong info, times etc..
In saying all of the above i LOVE Uni+IOA,and can never imagine a trip to Florida without visiting either of the parks :thumbsup2.A shame that you felt the way you did-although i do agree with Luke you did'nt miss much with Poseidon's Fury .
I am yet to read a trippie where HRRR has'nt broken down :sad2:,Hubby is looking forward to riding it next year-if it's working .
Those ribs look delish-it's only 11.30am but i could easily eat them right now.
Enjoying your trippe Victoria-keep up the good work :thumbsup2.x.

We, as a family, love US and IOA - and we have recommended Margaritaville a few times on here as we loved it when we went.
I take it you never went back for the HHN then. This was one of the best nights of our last trip and I would go again in October just for this. :cool1:

I havent been to US for a couple of years so will be interested to see what we think this time :goodvibes

Another fab day. Those ribs look fab. :)

A fab day and I like the idea of using the Mears transport..

I have mixed feelings about US/IOA. I love the Mummy and Spiderman but can take or leave the rest and it definitely doesn't have the Disney vibe. We enjoyed staying at HRH last year but it was very busy and nowhere near as relaxing as staying at WDW so not sure we'd bother again...
