How was Coral Reef?

Has anyone else been sat with others? I think if they did that I would just say no thanks and leave. I would be a little embarassed but not so much I want to eat with someone else on my vacation. We have never sat by the tank but always still had a very good view. You should see the lobster tanks inside the kitchen !

We were there in December and it certainly didn't seem to me that the restaurant was set up to seat separate parties together. I know that happens at some other restaurants in Epcot, but I don't think that is the case here.

Anyway, we really enjoyed Coral Reef. The atmosphere was great...and we weren't tank-side but could see everything perfectly fine...the service was wonderful, and most of the food was delicious. I did not particularly care for my trout...it was prepared more like chicken...but the Mahi Mahi, which was the server's recommendation, was delicious! My salad appetizer was also good, and very welcome. It was the first serious vegetable any of us had in three days.

It has always been a favorite of mine and is now a favorite of DH. We went on our honeymoon last year and had a fabulous meal! My DH isn't much of a seafood person but he loved his entree, the appetizer, and of course the dessert. We were seated tankside and had a very special surprise that meant the world to both of us when we were there. We will always make a point of going there on future trips.
