How was Bounce Back offered to you while at Disney?

Perhaps I should say was Bounce Back offered to you during a recent stay?

We just returned from a stay at BC and we never were given the opportunity to book an August or September 2007 return.

It was not until last night that I even heard the specifics of it. I tried to call the number and the normal Disney number and neither would work at all.

DH says he would really like a just he and I trip and September would be great.

Would it work if I just call the normal number and try to book it now or am I going to have to talk to someone in the upper crust to find out why we were not given the information while we were there?

We were at CBR from 12/10 to 12/15 and I never saw or heard anything about it. I knew about it from reading these boards, though and called CRO the day before we left. From what I've read, the last day was 12/31 and you had to call by 10 pm on your checkout day.

I was at CSR from 12/9-12/16 and was not informed of it. Luckily I was walking through the Beach Club lobby, saw the desk and remembered a post about the bounceback program. I asked the CM at the desk and she booked my trip right then and there.

I saw podiums at both the Beach Club and Port Orleans Riverside advertising "Your Next Disney Vacation". Of course I know about the offer before I arrived, so I knoew to look for them. Other than that there really was no promotion of this deal, so I am not at all suprised that you didn't notice it. Hopefully they will open up the free dining promotion to the general public as they have in the past few years so you will be able to take advantage of it.

We were there in November during NJ week and we heard about it when we ate at Chef Mickey's. When the bill came, there was a flyer inside with the bill advertising the bounce back promotion. I called the number from our DVC room before we checked out.

Not sure whether they will be able to honor it for you since you're already checked out, but they might be able to check their records and see that you were a guest within the necessary time frame.

At pop century they had a display in our room offering it and also at Chef Mickeys the information and number were at the bottom of our receipt.

We did not see or hear any advertising for it while we were there. I checked our receipts to see if there was any info on there. We also had no info in our room on it.

The promotion was not a promised part of any service. Now that the promotion is over, I would expect that you wouldn't be able to get any assistance in retroactively taking advantage of the promotion.

The promotion was a test, with reservation booths in two resorts (apparently Beach Club and POFQ), and literature in the rooms in two other resorts.

While there was a post last week claiming that even though the Bounce Back program required booking while you were AT Disney for an existing trip it was possible to call even after you got home, within 24 hours maybe, and still book - the promotion expired at whatever time the reservation booths and number closed yesterday. Probably 6 PM, since it was a Sunday?

I was not offered it. I knew about it from here. I stayed at SSR and OKW during the promotion time and saw nothing at the resorts.

There were desks at the Beach Club and Riverside for booking. I walked into the Beach Club and booked there.

Literature was supposedly distributed to guests at Pop Century and the Contemporary.

We were at POP from Nov. 4-12. There was a card left on our table about halfway through our trip with the details. Said we needed to book before we checked out.

We already knew about the promo, read about it here on the DIS. The one nighter we booked was specifically to take advantage of the offer. We were told in no uncertain terms that technically one could book after check out but it had to be by 10:00 p.m. that day, no later. This was a pilot program and not meant to be widely advertised at WDW.

The only reason I knew about it was because I had read about it here on the Dis before I left. I really had to look for it down there. I called CRO and they didn't know anything about it, I spoke to guest services at the CBR and they looked at me like I was crazy. Finally another DISer told me you had to go to PO or BC. I wasn't sure which PO, so went to POFQ where again guest services didn't know anything about it, but after a few calls she told me to go to PORS. When I got there I was told the guy wouldn't be there until 1:00pm that day. I spent half a day running around trying to book it. When the guy finally showed up he was very well informed and told me the exact same thing Castillo Mom was told. He also said that there had been alot of complaints from both visitors and restaraunts the last two Septs, so Disney was 'severely limiting the number of free dining pkgs available for 2007' and the only way to get it was the UK offer or if you booked while you were in WDW Nov-Dec. He also said that even though they didn't promote it that much that the turnout was still better than Disney expected.

We just came back from a stay over Christmas week.
There was a card with info on it about saving big on your next vaction, also on each receipt at the food court it was printed.
I never would have noticed either if I wasn't looking for it.
I read a post with the number to call from my room it was 8844 and I booked two trips, one in Aug and one in Sept.
I have a AP so we only got the one day ticket.
I also upgraded my child to adult and payed for a adult ticket for him so he doesn't have to eat off that awful childs menu.
