I noticed that California goes to the Poll tomorrow (Tuesday).

This is so unusual............we only have elections on Saturday's here

So, who's voting for Arnie??

We have our elections on Tuesdays. Ridiculous. There would be a much better turnout on weekends, but religious groups have opposed Saturday (Sabbath for Jews) and Sunday (Church Services) voting

saturday, why would we do that, then people who work could vote

Nutsy, your Saturday is our Friday, atleast for more than 1/2 of the day though. Our elections are on Tuesdays.

If I was in California, I'd vote for Arnie. I'd be scared not to. He's bigger than I am.

Also, is it mandatory to vote over there & at what age is it considered to be able to vote?

Here it is mandatory & you need to be 18 & registered on the electoral roll to be able to vote.

Our elections are always on a Saturday & they use the schools & Church facilities for the polling booths.
