I couldn't vote.... I was on vaca and for some reason when I checked in to the DIS, I didn't check your thread! (I should be reprimanded for this at once!!!)

Good luck with the contest. All your pics show kids being kids and not letting daily life hold them down. Great pics by the way.... so what title did you come up with?

September Transportation!

The plan...until recently...was for me to drive and have Sharon ride with me about half of the trip.

But when I started thinking about what time I would have to leave and what time we would get to Orlando and the fact that we would practically completely lose our last half day there...I changed my mind.

So, I have booked a SW flight both ways for my September trip.

I don't land until around 11:00 PM on Friday night, but that is much better than the 2AM I was looking forward to if we drove. Plus, I think I will be more rested if I don't have that long drive. And I do have to work the next day when I get back.

So...

I am flying!!


And I will change the MASTER PLAN....

Oh!, I'm so, so glad you decided to fly!! REally, I am! It just makes so much more sense to arrive more rested and you gain that extra half a day. I think you would have really regretted it come that last day, and would have been kicking yourself all the way home.

I hope you got a great fare. But I'll bet if you add up the numbers you won't have spent too much more on flying

Actually... It sort of cost me -0-... not really. I just had a credit with SW that I used. So I didn't have to fork out any MORE money. And now that I am probably not going back until Sept 2010, it was a good deal for me to use it...I would have lost it. Actually I would have donated it to Make a Wish. Just an idea for anyone that has unused credits out there...

I am glad I did that, too!!! We would have been rushed on Wednesday morning.

So now I just need to figure out how I want to get back to the airport...

Get a towncar to come get me? Is that even possible from the MK?

Maroo, we have a towncar service that we use. Actually at this point, he's a family friend. I don't want to post his information here. It's a little pricey, but when Tink and I were looking at your standard towncar service that she'd used for her last trip, the prices were very, very similar. I think mine might have been a little bit more and to my mind, definitely worth it. If you want his info, PM me.

You are right...it was a no brainer...I am not actually completely sure why I had not planned it that way the whole time?

We used a towncar service on our last trip. We actually needed a van because there were five of us plus all of the luggage. A towncar would be cheaper. We paid $115 roundtrip plus tip.

If you want to use ME, I wonder if you could pick it up at the Contemporary since you will be at the MK or if you can only get it at your resort?

Seeing that price I think I'll just plan on sticking with ME if I need to go back and forth. It's free, and like that'snice says, "Is there really a decision here?"
