How to write a PTR no one reads... Less than 24 hrs to go and still not packed!!

Hi Joycie:flower3:

I live in Saugus... well I moved into my boyfriend's house in Saugus last year. Before that I lived in Waltham for five years.

There was a third sister, but I wasn't allowed to get all three. It tore at my heart to separate them, but she got adopted that same day so at least she wasn't unwanted.

So my mom is here and having lunch with my Aunt. I think I'm going to take her to the mall to the Pandora store, my dad got her a bracelet for her birthday and she doesn't know how open it to put it on.

Tomorrow we're going to get massages and facials through this deal I got $25 each!!! Then I want to bring her to the Good Feet store, her feet always bother her. And take a walk around this national park near my house. She loves historical/ national parks and things like that. Then my aunt invited us over for dinner.

Sunday, I"ll have to go to Jo-Ann's clearance to look for those 100 glow bracelets for $3. Make returns to Target and Dollar Tree. I want to take a picture of all the things I had to go and buy after listening to all the hints and tips and everything else on these boards. Its crazy I haven't bought half of my list, but I have four shopping bags full of things! Sunday is suppose to be our day to work on getting the rest of the stuff picked up for the Disney trip which I'm 34 days away from being there.

Can't wait!

So that's how my Disney trip came about! We're going from 9/2 - 9/7 and staying at Pop. Our flight leaves very early on 9/2 and leaves as late as possible on 9/7. We're using ME and have Park Hoppers because I have a few days planned we'll go somewhere during the morning and somewhere else for the night. I cannot wait! Everyone at DIS has been really helpful and teaching me some great things to pack, hints on where to eat, and how to make the most out of the free dining!

I am glad that you finally get to go to WDW with you B! Free dining is great, as are the crowds this time of year!

So where have you suggested me to eat?

Day 1: We arrive at MCO @9:33am. Its the Thursday before Labor Day. I'm hoping to get to DTD to have a nice lunch at WPE-Marketplace.

Then I have a Dinner ADR at either the Garden Grill or Teppen Edo. I'd rather the Garden Grill cause of the characters and well I'm not a huge fan of Chinese or Japanese food.

Day 2: Friday of Labor Day weekend. HS Day with some surprises! Breakfast to be at Fairfax Fare because I heard their breakfast sandwiches are really big and good, so maybe we can spilt one? Lunch I got my first ADR for Le Cellier (so excited!) but do I want to travel to Epcot for it? Also made one for 50's Prime Time Cafe, just in case. Skipping dinner or having a light snack, because ....... I got a reservation for Wishes dessert party!

Day 3: Saturday, MK Day! Breakfast will be Main Street Bakery using one QS meal (hope) I want a cinnamon bun, he likes chocolate croissants. Neither of us drink coffee. I'm not sure why. Lunch split QS at Cosmic Ray's with the chicken rib combo. Dinner is an ADR at The Wave or Tony's Town Square

Day 4: Sunday, EP Day. He loves Soarin' ride first and pick up FP. Breakfast is going to be skipped because I can either go to Le Cellier (yay! found another res) or Le Chefs de France (Remy!), dinner is QS at Sunshine Seasons with going to HS for Fantasmic! and then EMH at MK. I'm a sucker for BTMRR at night in the last row.

Day 5: Monday, Labor Day (eek!):scared1: HS Day. I loved TSM at DL and I want to do it as many times as possible! Same breakfast as last time in HS, Lunch is Beaches & Cream and Dinner is an ADR at Cape May Cafe (yum seafood! and buffet!):dance3:

Day 6: Tuesday, leaving day  Either breakfast at Boma or CP. Pick up lunch to go at WGE for the plane. Flights at 6:15pm.

How did we do? Any one of those nights can change with us meeting up with my friend and former CM for dinner. I'm aiming for nights of 1, 3, or 5!

Great plans for good! I am excited to see your pictures of the WDP!

How did I meet my BF?

This is a story that gets everyone laughing and in disbelief. He was working his job at security for a school and I was working for a company that I loved working on a project for the same school. You would think that's where it starts and ends right???? WRONG!!!

I didn't like him at first, he was just creepy to me. All the other security guards would tell me he liked me and it gave me the creeps. I really couldn't stand him. He would come up and touch my shoulder or hand and bad chills would go up my back. I mean who is this guy touching me that I don't know anything about him but his name.

Well he was very persistant about me. To the point that I complained about him to his supervisor and almost got him fired! I didn't want to file a complaint formally, I just wanted him to stop touching me. I felt bad about having to tell his supervisor, but I had told him multiple times before and he never listened. One of his best traits . His co-worker sat and talked to me that day and told me the reason he worked all the hours he did, was to help provide for his family and grandmother. It was only his dad and him working to support the family. Well that got to me and I started realizing what a strong person he was and liking him.

After a long weekend feeling horrible about almost getting him fired, I came into work to find him there working for someone else. I tried to talk to him about what happened last week, but people kept coming in and out and well it wasn't very private. So I took his phone and put my number into it. He texted me after he got out of work and we talked that night. And every night after for hours and hours. Some nights we wouldn't hang up until 2am and I'd be up for work at 7am. During this time we got to know each other really well and I started caring about him. Two weeks after our first phone call was my birthday and he came over with a cake, flowers, balloons, and presents. A few days later we went out for what I like to call our first date.

That was over two years ago. And although we don't see as much of each other as we'd like I still love him.:cloud9::love:

What a cute story. I didn't really like my DH when I first met him either. I think I opinion was something like "he isn't as cool as he thinks he is". The thing is he really doesn't act all that "cool"-- either that, or I mellowed him out a bit.

Well we booked out trip 56 days in advance.... how do I know this.... because we paid the deposit on July 8th and then I saw July 19th as our 45 days away final payment day. Well, darn we should have just paid the whole thing.

So trying to get what I want out of the parks with what touringplans says to do, and where I managed to find ADR's.

I asked the BF on Monday to sit down and look at the menus so I can cancel the extra ADR's and the response I get is "how am I going to know what I feel like eating over a month in advance?" He doesn't understand that you have to book otherwise the DDP is a waste!

He doesn't understand Disney, why I love it, how WDW is different then DL, and why I made him sit down and watch the DVD that came in the mail. He thought I had already watched it before showing it to him, I was waiting for him so we could watch it together, he talked through the whole thing and thought it a waste of time.

I just want my money's worth.:rolleyes1 Does anyone know if you can add your camera photos to the Photo Pass CD?

My DH thought the same thing about ADRs last year, but he was so grateful for all my planning when we got there! Every few days he thanks me for planning this trip.... I think your BF will come around!

I believe you can add your own photos, but I don't think that you can put borders on them. I am going to PM you something about this.

:hug:Hi Paula! Sounds like your DH isn't too different from my BF. I don't know if he'll change his tune.

Oh well! I started to think of taking my cousin next year, she hasn't been ever and she just turned 21! She needs to go!

You should totally take her! Maybe you will get a bounceback offer when you are there-- then you would have no excuse! =)

Okay so I decided on Friday to completely change every day! The struggle for ADR's and planning comes once again. Bonus is I"ll have lots of ADR's to cancel and help everyone else!

I found out last night that my aunt, uncle, cousin, cousin's husband, and their two kids are going to WDW the week of Thanksgiving. I'm not sure if they've booked it or are talking about it, but WOW if they haven't started yet they should definitely grab whatever ADR's they can get!

So NEW plan:

Day 1: Thursday. Get there, check into Pop. Go to DTD for WPE-Marketplace Lunch. Animal Kingdom. Hollywood Studios - 6:10pm ADR 50's PTC to try and see Fantasmic!

Day 2: Friday. Magic Kingdom. Breakfast - Main Street Bakery. Lunch - Cosmic Ray's (late) Dinner - Wishes Dessert Party @ 8:10pm

Day 3: Saturday. Hollywood Studios, I know I know EMH stay away! TSM has to be played many time as possible. Breakfast - Fairfax Fare. Lunch - ??? Magic Kingdom. Dinner - The Wave - 6:45pm. Back to MK to hopefully see Spectromagic Parade at 9.

Day 4: Sunday. Epcot. Lunch - Le Cellier - 12:00pm, Dinner - Cape May Cafe - 7:45pm??? or Sunshine Seasons. The EMH at MK til midnight

Day 5: Monday. Labor Day. Animal Kingdom. No idea where to eat today. Maybe we'll be too stuffed to eat?

Day 6: Tuesday. Leaving today. Flight's at 6. ME 3? AK and late breakfast at Boma, followed by DTD to get WPE to go for the flight home?

Who else would replan their trip this close?

I hate to be a downer, but is TSM going to open when you're there? I know it's going to be closed in Aug. while I'm there, but I don't know when it's reopening. I sure hope it's before your trip! :goodvibes

Toy Story Midway Mania is closed from 8/16/10- 8/28/10. I tried to pick a time that as few things as possible would be closed and gave extra days in case it didn't open exactly on 8/28.

Glad to hear it! We're not going to DHS, so I wasn't sure. I'm afraid the Buzz Lightyear ride at MK is going to be extra crowded the week we're there with people who can't ride TSM!

I love Buzz Lightyear too! I had to convince my mom to go on it. She's scared of everything! I told her there are 5 years olds on it, if they can handle it she can too! It took us five days to get her to ride Soarin'. I think the Back to the Future at US did her in.

:hug:Hi Paula! Sounds like your DH isn't too different from my BF. I don't know if he'll change his tune.

Oh well! I started to think of taking my cousin next year, she hasn't been ever and she just turned 21! She needs to go!

I'm sure he'll change his tune! My BF and I took our DD 3 years ago for the first time as a family (she was 2). Last year it was my idea to go back around Christmas. This year it was HIS idea to go back (it was my idea to go in October). He wanted to go in December, but since I actually wanted to do something different I told him that we had to at least go when I wanted to go! :rotfl: So, you see...........................it took 3 years, but he is the one that wanted this vacation! :thumbsup2 I'm glad he changed my mind and we are going (it didn't take me long to get excited ).

Do you want to know one of his BIG reasons for wanting to Disney AGAIN???? It was the FOOD! :rotfl2: He loves to EAT. He especially LOVES the buffets ! I try to schedule pretty many of them. I usually do character meals. It makes the both of them :) which makes me :).

So, don't worry! He'll convert! It doesn't take long!

Good luck! :thumbsup2

I hope so, but I don't expect it. I moved us down from four buffets to three. Poor boy.

I hope he enjoys it and realizes Disney is not just for kids, but a place for adults to be like kids and escape from all stresses of the real world.

I keep looking at my itinerary to see if I should make any changes, but then I realize that it is fine the way it is. I think I just want something else to plan!
So I completely understand you moving things around!

Hope you get everything the way that you want it!

So I'm at work, and I don't to be, but I can't stop thinking about if and how I could fit CP and Garden Grill into my newest set of plans. Oh why do I change things up the last moment. Funny thing is, I'll probably end up going with our first set of plans anyways! HAA HAA HAA

Let's see what I can adjust:
Day 1: Thursday. Get there, check into Pop. Go to DTD for WPE-Marketplace Lunch. Animal Kingdom. Hollywood Studios - 6:10pm ADR 50's PTC to try and see Fantasmic!
Hmm, I guess we could do an early Garden Grill here and take the boat to HS, but I wanted to do PTC too!

Day 2: Friday. Magic Kingdom. Breakfast - Main Street Bakery. Lunch - Cosmic Ray's (late) Dinner - Wishes Dessert Party @ 8:10pm
CP instead of the warm cinnamon rolls at Main Street Bakery? I don't think so!

No changes to be made here!

Day 4: Sunday. Epcot. Lunch - Le Cellier - 12:00pm, Dinner - Cape May Cafe - 7:45pm??? or Sunshine Seasons. The EMH at MK til midnight
Nope want the seafood buffet with molten cakes YUM!

Day 5: Monday. Labor Day. Animal Kingdom. No idea where to eat today. Maybe we'll be too stuffed to eat?
Do we really need a full day at AK when we're going til close on the first day and the last day until we go to DTD for lunch to go. MK replacement with CP? EP dinner with Garden Grill?

Day 6: Tuesday. Leaving today. Flight's at 6. ME 3? AK and late breakfast at Boma, followed by DTD to get WPE to go for the flight home?

And now I'm rethinking my third set of plans that I just posted moments ago. I'm stricking the Labor Day AK for MK with Breakfast at CP if I can get it, I'm going to forgo seeing my boys Chip & Dale at the Garden Grill because I'm suppose to make time to meet up with friends of mine who live an hour away and we'll do dinner that night together. If they can't oh well book the Garden Grill! I think I'm crazy!

Does anyone know if you can add your camera photos to the Photo Pass CD?

Unfortunately, you can't.

You can add them to your account and order a completely separate CD of your own personal photos, with borders and graphics - but not on the Photopass CD. Found that out the hard way. :)

That really sucks, but its understandable. I mean otherwise Disney would have to give out like 20 CD's a person and they would make 0. I'll just have to get lots of photos taken and put them all with borders and things to make the CD worth it.

I'm so frustrated! :furious: So last night I noticed Jessie, the cat who thinks she is coming to Disney with us, had this spot on the left side of her neck by her shoulder which was kinda matted. After a lot of telling her how pretty she was and how good she was I finally got to see why it was matted. She has a scab smaller then a pencil eraser there. She's been scratching a bit with her hind legs on her neck so I don't want it worse. I had a hamster die because its brother attacked it and ate a chunk of its side while we were on vacation.

Anyways, I have insurance for my cats, because they are my babies and I decided I'm going to call the vet to see if they can see her and/or its anything to worry about. They had 10:40am or 12:20pm available. I'm at work until 5pm and my boyfriend is home until he leaves for work at 2pm. He works from 3pm - 11pm and I think goes to bed around 2am every night, so I figured 12:20pm would give him enough time to sleep.

Well I texted him the time at 9:30am and didn't hear anything back until 10:45am when I got called insensitive and i shoudl have asked him first becasue he's been awake and maybe he had plans for today but could go tomorrow. Do you think I'm being insensitive asking him to go, when I tol him about the spot on her, he saw it, and he knew I was calling the vet. More so I picked a time to see the vet that would allow him to sleep like he needs it so he wouldn't be all cranky that I made an appointment too early for him. AUGH!!!!!!!! Some days I wonder what I'm even doing with him.

So they have fleas. I gave them their flea and tick medicine last month and was suppose to give it to them again today.:scared1:

Okay Plan # 3 or 4 or 12......

Day 1: Thursday. Get there, check into Pop. Go to DTD for WPE-Marketplace Lunch (QS). Animal Kingdom. Hollywood Studios - 6:10pm ADR 50's PTC (TS)to try and see Fantasmic!

Day 2: Friday. Magic Kingdom. Breakfast - Crystal Palace @ 8:20am(TS). Lunch - Cosmic Ray's (late) (QS, hopefully spilting meal), must try Dole Whip! (S) Dinner - Wishes Dessert Party @ 8:10pm (OOP)

Day 3: Saturday. Hollywood Studios, I know I know EMH stay away! TSM has to be played many time as possible. Breakfast - Fairfax Fare (QS). Lunch - ??? Magic Kingdom. Dinner - The Wave - 6:45pm(TS). Back to MK to hopefully see Spectromagic Parade at 9. Snack Credit for one Ice Cream Sanwich to be shared. (S)

Day 4: Sunday. Epcot. Lunch - Le Cellier - 12:00pm or 1:45pm(TS), Dinner - Sunshine Seasons(QS) or with friends. Stay for Illuminations. Then EMH at MK til midnight. Snack Credit for one Ice Cream Sanwich to be shared. (S)

Day 5: Monday. Labor Day. Animal Kingdom. EMH. Late Tusker House Breakfast?(TS) Then HS with Dinner at Cape May Cafe?(TS)or dinner out of the world with friends. Do Illuminations today if I missed it on Sunday having dinner with friends.

Day 6: Tuesday. Leaving today. Flight's at 6. HS for one last round of TSM, MK for Cinnamon Bun and Crossiant breakfast (QS, spilt between two), followed by DTD to get WPE to go (QS) for the flight home? Use the rest of the snacks at Goofy's Candy.

I'm trying to get the numbers right. I know we'll have to pay for one TS meal, whether in the World or with our friends. I want to keep the snacks for my huge sweet tooth, since we'll be bringing in bottles of water.

Need to find out in a few weeks when I'm meeting with friends and adjust plans accordingly. Maybe we'll eat in DTD and I can use the DDP?:yay: Its getting closer!
