How to visit BCV, BWV & Epcot in same day?

I need a little help from the DVC experts.

I'm having the most difficult time trying to plan this out.

On Monday, January 22, we'll be starting out our morning at SSR (where we're staying) with breakfast at Artist's Palette.

Now, if you were going to plan out the day to include visiting BCV, BWV, and Epcot, using Disney transportation, with lunch and dinner somewhere too, how would you do it?

How much time to check out each resort?

Can we do Epcot in one day?

Where should we eat lunch and dinner (great food and atmosphere, and we're on the DDP)?

Thanks for any help or advice........or TOUR PLAN!

Assuming you don't have a car, take a bus from SSR to one of the transportation hubs or walk to DTD and take a bus to BCV or BWV. You can spend quite a bit of time wandering around the Boardwalk area and checking out the resorts. Have lunch at one of the restaurants on the Boardwalk or at the BCV. We love Beaches and Cream (Home of the kitchen Sink) or ESPN (the best wings available even if you can't get the bucket anymore) for lunch.

You could cut through EPCOT and if you have time visit that park before heading to the VWL. Take a bus from EPCOT after spending the afternoon there. Eat dinner at one of the restaurants at the WL and enjoy the evening. The WL has a couple of places we enjoy, Artist Point (more upscale and great food) and Whispering Canyon (more fun and family friendly).

IMHO yes because it will give you a break from the parks and give you more time to be flexible with (stay in the aprk vs. visit the resort?). You could go to the resorts after being in the park for a while for lunch and some quiet time.

That is what I would do too. The to get back to SSR, I would take the boat to MGM, and catch the bus there back to your resort. if you head back to Epcot, you will need to walk all the way back to the front to catch the bus.

This sounds good. Take the bus to Epcot from SSR. Then just walk a big loop. From the main entrance just go to the right. Hit the rides like Nemo and Soren and work your way to the world showcase. After you visit England bear right down the international gateway to the Epcot resorts. BCV and SAB would be your first stop. Then continue on to the right past the Dolphin and Swan onto the Boardwalk....here you can visit the BWV and that area. Then just continue the loop by the ESPN club right back into Epcot and into France.

I think this is a better plan. You can travel between WLV and MK either by boat or bus. The boat is slower but much more fun! Last time we did this, we took the boat from MK to WL, checked out the grounds and pool areas, the lobby in the lodge, the Iron Spike room in the WLV, then took the bus back to the MK.

A lot depends on how much of EPCOT you really want to see. Do you have kids with you? Are you just strolling the park or commando touring? Here's how I would recommend the day...

Take a cab right to BCV and do the Cape May Character B'fast early. We love this meal - smaller restaurant, great buffet, great character time.

Stroll through BCV.

Enter EPCOT through the International Gateway. Get Fastpasses to Soarin'. Do a few things. Get Fastpasses to Test TRack as soon as you are able to.

Stroll the World Showcase.

Head to BWV whenever. If you need an afternoon break you can poolhop there. Relax by the pools. Or wait til the end of the day and check out the Boardwalk entertainment.

Walk back through EPCOT using any fastpasses - take the bus home!

IMHO, if you want to enjoy the Boardwalk area, you should wait until evening (or even night time after Illuminations?), as the games and entertainment aren't in full swing until then. It is very easy to fit in a visit to the Yacht and Beach Club and Boardwalk, and it can be a nice break from EPCOT. Maybe after a day of future world and the world showcase, leave via the international gateway to have dinner at the Cape May Buffet, stroll the Boardwalk and reenter EPCOT in time for Illuminations?

Actually, I don't think the bus runs to WL from MK anymore. I know it did back in March/April, but we had a 9AM ADR at WCC one morning last week and there were no buses going to WL. We had to wait on the boat and ended up being 20 minutes late.

As for doing BCV, BWV, and Epcot in one day... definately doable. I'd head to Epcot directly from SSR and do some of the attractions. We would then make our way thru the International Gateway and head over to the YC/BC to have a late lunch (and ice cream) at Beaches & Cream. Then, over to the BWV to explore some during the day. Then take the stroll back over to Epcot and make your way around the World Showcase (or do a few more attractions - hopefully you picked up some FPs for Soarin or something)... You could then chose to have dinner at one of the places in Epcot (LeCellier) or make your way back over to the Boardwalk and try Spoodles or Flying Fish. Then enjoy some of the Boardwalk entertainment - maybe even checkout Jellyrolls... or head back over to Epcot to catch Illuminations.

That might sound like a lot of walking, but it isn't that bad of a walk from Epcot to either BWV or BCV. Of course, if your feet are aching by then, you can take the boat from the Int'l Gateway. We tend to walk back and forth thru those areas multiple times during our stay.

I'm sorry to hear that. I do prefer the boat but if pressed for time the bus was handy. We rode it from WL to MK in early May so it was operational at that time. But I did notice that MK was not listed as a destination on some of the signs along the way to the bus stops at WL, so it did seem they weren't 100% committed to keeping it running. Too bad!

Hope you enjoyed your breakfast at WCC. You probably worked up a good appetite waiting for that boat!

Take the bus to MGM and walk to BW. Eat lunch at B&C at BC you will love it there. Have dinner at Spoodles it's great. 5 minute walk to Epcot from BW.
