Hello,
I think I have the potential of being a DDA. I haven't designed anything yet, but am strongly considering going out and buying the software you all recommend! In the meantime, for those who invite us to - how do you borrow someone's designs? Can I personalize it myself with different text?

Yes, you can do whatever you want with it. However, the only thing that the designers ask is that you give proper credit to the original designer. We have had instances where someone would take a complete design, not change a thing, and then go and say "look what I designed." I believe that this is the consensus among the designers. If I'm wrong, someone please correct me.

Be sure to post your creations for all of us to see. We love to gain inspiration from each other!

i have a "how to" question as well... how do you take a design from someone's photobucket account to us (those that offer to share freely)? the one i copied was small when i copied it and if i try to enlarge it in word it comes out very pixilated... am i missing something?

tia! :flower:

Some of them had to make them small in their photobucket accounts because the files were too large otherwise. In this case, you pm the designer with your e-mail address and request they send you their full-size image.

If you doubleclick on the image in photobucket, it will give you a larger one. Then save that one and it should work.
