How to use a pin on WDW website

I got the new pin in an email also. Can I use it on the website. Which page? I hate talking to people on the phone.

This is one time when you will need to use the phone. You need to call to use the pin code. For the most part the people you will talk to at disney will be nice.

If you booked through a TA - do they have to call and apply your PIN? Or can you do it yourself?

If you booked through a travel agent, they own the reservation and they have to make any changes to the reservation, including adding any pin code.

Thank you. I let my TA know this morning I got a PIN # and have been waiting to find out if it was useable. Wondered if I should have/could have just done it myself.

I got an email yesterday with a PIN---called today to try and make a reservation and was told nothing available with that PIN. I don't understand
I ended up making a reservation at rack rate to get the time I wanted in December.
Any suggestions?

For pin codes booked with a TA, the TA needs to phone and have the pin associated with your household, and then there needs to be a resort available with that particular pin.

Like any other discount these pin offers are not across the board and blockouts apply for dates and resorts.

You might want to call the TA to ensure that they have your information.

Thank you. This is our first trip - so all this pin code # stuff is really new to me. Anyhow - my TA was able to use the code for us. We had to upgrade to a different room view to use it. But we did get a nicer view, and it cost us a little less than our standard view room did. So all in all, it was a nice surprise.

unctigger -- Were you wanting a specific resort or room type? Or was your arrival date not within what is allowed for the code?
Just curious.
Sometimes to use a pin, you may need to be flexible on where, room type, etc.
