How to trade CS for Snack credits?

So how do I do this? Can I just tell the person I'm using a CS credit? It's my understanding that you can trade 1 CS credit for 2 snacks...(read it here on the DIS in the dining section). We hardly ever use our CS credits...(we actually pay oop for more TS)....anyone done this before??

There is no "offical" trade policy. Frequently the resort food courts will let you trade in. Just find a CM and ask. The policy varies from resort to resort and varies. Some may give you 2 snacks, some 3 and some may let you take 2 snacks and one drink.

You're not going to be able to use CS credits for snacks at the F&W, snack carts etc.

In anticipation of the increased demand at the full serve restaurants during the Magic Your Way "free dining" period, guests who arrive by September 22, (length of stay thru September 29) can redeem a Table Service meal for a Quick Serve meal. In consideration, you will be given your choice of:
Disney Dining Plan Snack Certificate good for two snacks. (These must be redeemed at the same time at the same snack location) ~OR~
Disney Merchandise Certificate good for one selected Disney collectible pin and lanyard set.



??? Now I'm confused...it looks like an official option to me...not F&W festival food, but snack food in general

You asked about "converting" CS credits into snacks but the dining page you quoted talks about converting a TS credit into a CS meal (with two bonus snack credits). Completely different.
