How to Thank CM for true Disney Magic!

I have seen the cards from mousesavers.com, but am wondering if there is another special way to thank cast members for an extra special job well done. It could be for dealing with a very difficult guest that you witnessed or going the extra mile to make your own vacation very special.
How to get CM recognized by their supervisors?

I am a CM, and the best way to show your appreciation is to make a note of the CMs name, time and place where the magic happened, and hometown (also on the name tags) if they have a fairly common name. On your way out of the park, stop at guest services and they can give you a form to fill out. A letter is also nice, but this is just more immediate. It also goes in their work record.

That is a super idea. I know when we were on our cruises that our concierge asked us specifically which CM's made our trip special. People are quick to complain and not as quick to take a moment to thank someone. I will make sure to stop at the desk on my trip.

Ok Go To City Hall(sorry i worked a MK) or Guest Relations. Take there Name, Date/ time, Role(custodial or something like that) and Area. When do this it the best thing cause one We get a guest Fanstic Card Which go on are record, And there used for other thing.

I had sent an email to the above guest communications email address about two great CM's who saw me leave a bag on a bench that had my sons undeveloped camera with all his vacation pictures in it. A woman from Disney emailed me back & they actually featured the two CM's in Disney's employee newspaper with my email about how special they were, she even sent me a copy. So someone really does read those emails. I was just so happy that the CM's were recognized for their great effort as we were running to the airport & I didn't have a chance to thank them.

People do read the emails. I try to write down info on any CMs that have been especially kind or helpful and write an email when we get back. I carry a little notebook with me.

It's good to know there are comment cards, too!
