How to tackle ADR and FP

I am currently planning my trip, and I am able to do restaurant reservations but not FP yet.

I was wondering if I go to MK at rope drop, go on 1 or 2 rides, and wanted to do Crystal Palace late breakfast. What time should I make my ADR and what time should I start my first FP? Whenever I can get a time? THE FP return time is an hour right? So I should have enough time to eat and then go to the ride for FP?

You should plan for an hour and a half at Crystal Palace. The characters circle the dining room in order, and it is a big dining room, so depending on where they are when you come in relative to where you are seated, you might have to wait up to an hour and a half to see all four of them. You might get lucky and meet them quicker, but you never know. The last time we went to Crystal Palace, we had our first FP begin one hour after our reservation time. The idea was that if we got away quicker, it would not be much of a wait, but if it took a full hour and a half, we would still have plenty of time to get to the ride.

The general rule of thumb is you can get more done in the first few hours of park opening than you can for most of the rest of the day combined. If it were up to me, I'd schedule the latest breakfast seating possible for Crystal Palace (and budget 75-90 minutes to do it) and get as much touring in as possible beforehand, relying on low-demand attractions and FastPass for the afternoon and evening.

Would 10:00 be a good reservation time for Crystal Palace? I’d get an hour for whatever rides I can fit in and then CP is open until 10:45. How many rides can I get in between 9 and 10:00?
What are the best times to get ADR for breakfast? I’m also doing Garden Grill and Tusker House for breakfast. But MK has a lot more rides/attractions to get in during the day.

Then, I'd book the ADR for 10:30-ish.

I second this. You don't have to be out of the restaurant by the time they finish serving breakfast. They slowly start turning over to lunch food but you still aren't kicked out at all. We did an ADR at 10:30am at Crystal Palace last year and it worked great!

Sounds great. I’m able to get a 10:30am ADR for Crystal Palace.
What rides do you guys suggest I do from 9:00 am open to 10:30 am reservation?

Depends on your priority and what fastpasses you have. You could easily start in Frontierland, then ride PotC and JC in Adventureland before heading to the reservation.

I third this. We always get a FastPass for Seven Dwarfs because lines get long fast. We get fastpasses for Seven Dwarfs , Big Thunder, and Splash.
Then figure out a plan on doing rides that are in certain areas right at opening. Not clear across the park from each other.
