How to stay signed in?

Haven't posted for a while and after reading a few threads, I go to post and it says you are not signed in so have to go and type in PW and User again. Is there a way to stay signed in or increase the "signed in" time. Tried search. Thanks

I think right under where you type in your name and password is a little box to check that says 'Remember me' or soemthing like that. If you check that, you will stay signed in.
