How to set up a Grand Gathering event?

I'm interested in the Magical Fireworks Voyage and have another family that is interested also that will be there when we are.

How do I go about booking this?

Do i need to set up a Magical Gatherings number first? What info will I need to supply since this is two separate families?

How is payment handled on these Grand Gathering events? Do you pay in full over the phone or just guarantee with a CC? Do you have to pick up tickets anywhere prior? Could the other family call in with their CC?

For a Grand Gathering you need to have a party of 8 or more (not including children under 3). If you do, then call 1-407-WDW-MAGIC to set up your group as a Grand Gathering and register for all their services. They will be able to tell you the dates and times available for the event as well as the other things available to you. They will also be able to answer all the questions you might have.

I now have three families plus mine that are interested in doing the fireworks cruise.

What would i need to get from them? Names, resort and phone numbers only?

Does anyone know how payment is handled for the grand Gatherings events?

A Grand Gathering is a group of 8 or more staying at select Walt Disney World® Resort Hotels. This means the more you gather, the more you can enjoy all kinds of special benefits, services and one-of-a-kind experiences we've created just for large parties like yours. We welcome kids of all ages, but only those age 3 and up are considered part of the guest count.
Availability for each Grand Gatherings experience is limited. Reservations can be made up 6 to 90 days in advance, and full payment for each experience is required 45 days prior to arrival without change. Events are subject to change. Prices include gratuity and service charge.
