How to secure Disney pins

While these are better than the Mickey backs we found them to be unreliable. Our best luck has been with the locking backs that do not require a key. Have not lost a single pin since we began using them.

Did anyone have trouble getting them through the airport metal detectors? DD would LOVE to bring her lanyard with the pins from her first trip, but I told her it'll just be a hassle at the airport (figuring it'll set off the detectors) and at 5:00 a.m. I don't want to be digging through bags and give TSA something to get all up in arms about.

Just have her take it off and put it in the tray with your keys,etc.
