how to search

I put in myself to see threads I have posted in, and it starts in 2007 when I joined, then gone forward to 2008. I marked show most recent.
What is wrong?

Also, how do you look at other member's postings? ON the old board, you could hover over their name, and it offered an option of reading other posts.
