We will be in Orlando the first 2 weeks of October and while we will prepare food in our condo we are also a family that enjoys dining out so plenty of that will happen as well. After reading Gina's trip report (great by the way!) I began looking for deals on Travelzoo and Groupon to save money on restaurants while we are there. However, I am not finding near the deals she did so I am wondering if there are other sites I should be looking at. Any advice? TIA

for the chain places, join their site and list your birthday to be during the time of your vacation.
you usually get a coupon or freebie soon after.

that is what i have been reading on how many get the buy one get one free deals and the free app or dessert at many places.

DW and I sometimes get a app and meal so we can share. Keeps the cost down and order water.

Hi Marcie,

Thanks for the kind compliments on my trip report :goodvibes . Glad you enjoyed it!

Like macraven mentioned, sometimes you can get some good deals by signing up for the email clubs just before you travel (many of those special welcome offers expire within a week or two of the email, so don't sign up too soon). A few that offer good sign-up deals (percentage off/BOGO/etc.) that I can think of are Sweet Tomatoes, First Watch, Friendly's, and Millers Ale House.

Definitely keep an eye on Travelzoo and Groupon, as those deals tend to spring up randomly too. I know Senor Frogs was on Groupon (might still be) and BB Kings was on Travelzoo for quite some time (it, too, might still be there). Cici's tends to come up on Livingsocial. I figure we might start seeing a few more offers being introduced after Labour Day, when crowds start to disperse and some of the restaurants are looking for ways to bring people in the door after the busy summer season is over.
