I thought it was only my family that notices weird things like goat sounds on a beach. Though, I can honestly say we've never heard a goat, on a beach.
But I understand the weirdness. LOL

I jump out of my bed and turn the light on.

"Hmm no. I thought we should come back for Christmas."

Just me then.

I turn the light back off and go back in bed. We're silent for a few minutes.

"... who would bring a goat on the beach ??"

I just love it! I was laughing so hard about the goat DH had to come find out what the problem was. I thought I was the only one who heard weird stuff like a goat where there shouldn't be one. Of course my MIL saw a penquin in the middle of the lake one year and we never let her forget it. Especially since it turned out to be a guy in a kayak with an orange vest on.

PS - I use to love WalMart especially when they built us a Super WalMart. I would go at 6:00am when it was just me, stockers and a few older men. Ever since Katrina it has never been the same. Totally crowded and they changed a bunch of stuff they use to carry to cater to the "new" clientele in our town. I have a like-hate relationship with the place now.

We MUST meet !!! What do you have planned for the 25th and 26th ? For us it looks like Hollywood Studios on the 25th (and Walmart - LOL) and all day Magic Kingdom on the 26th.

YAY, we are at Magic Kingdom on the 26th, having dinner at 'Ohana that night . We will have to make a plan!!

That was too funny! There are certain people who just have "it" - the talent to tell a story - and you definitely have "it"!! The duck story was priceless and I love your mom's reaction. I know you had to be so excited that she had heard the goat too and then to hear she wants to come back at Christmas - funny!!

Your TR is really making me miss my mom. I have a dream of going to WDW with her and my sister some day. It will be a while since my sister just started having babies. I am all done and my oldest is getting ready to get her learners permit next week. I think my sister and I would be way more compatible in a WDW trip than your experience.
