How to Return & get a Refund for WDW Merchandise?

I wasn't sure where to post this, but I'll try here! I bought a Disney photo album when I was in WDW in June to hold my wedding photos. Well, I haven't even really used the thing and it's ripping and falling apart at the spine. It wasn't cheap either...the most expensive photo album I saw! I'd really like to return it and get a refund of some kind. Of course, now I dont't have a receipt or anything. I am wondering if there is a number I can call or if anyone knows who I need to contact? I will be in WDW at the end of October, but I don't want to wait to long. I'm thinking it will be better to call, then to just go there with the photo album in October to return? Any suggestions or opinions? Has anyone done this before with WDW merchandise? Thanks!

I really don't know what you can do without a receipt. The Disney Store takes WDW returns, but a receipt is required. Hopefully someone will have a merchandise number for WDW that you can call.

A necklace I bought DD in MK broke while we were still there--I went back to the Emporium, showed the CM at the register, and she gave me another one without even ringing anything up. I had a receipt but she didn't even want to see it because we were just switching to a new one. I think without a receipt, they'll give you a merchandise credit for the amount the item is selling for--I looked it up when I was there because at first I couldn't find the receipt and was worried I'd have an issue. Sorry I don't know how to deal with it when you're not there, but if you take it back to WDW, you won't have much trouble as long as you get something else with that value.

That's what i was hoping to be able to do. I will be doing a lot of shopping anyway and an exchange world work out perfectly or a Disney Gift Card. I hope I can get something in return. It wasn't a well made item.
