Just curious if anyone has info on how to request adjoining rooms, or king size beds at the value resorts.

Just call Disney World and explain what you want/need.

But if you want/need rooms with an interior door so you can walk between the rooms without going outside, you want connecting rooms, not adjoining rooms. Adjoining rooms are just rooms next to each other - they may not have that inside door.

Also remember that the more specific your wants/needs, the less likely you will get exactly what you want/need. So make your requests in the order of importance.

And if you're looking for connecting (or adjoining) rooms that both have king beds, those don't exist.

I take that back. Adjoining just means 'next to or near each other' - so any king bed room is within six rooms of the elevator; therefore, any two could technically be classified as adjoining.

1) There are "adjoining" rooms with one being a King (no door between rooms)
2) However, they are not guaranteed.
3) Even if they say so at ressie time.
4) NO ROOMS AT ANY RESORT ARE GUARANTEED. *

* They can change room types, they can change room locations,
they can even change resorts to same-better-worse.

How about a king connected to a two double room at AoA? Not sure what is available connecting.
