How to request a room

Just booked a Gardenview room at POR. We are a family of 5 so I know we will be in Alligator Bayou. Is there a need to request a room or will all of these be fairly close to the action? Also, if I should request a room how do I do that and which one?

I woul go look at portorleans.org web site. A wealth of info, and resort maps to look at. There is also a POR thread on Dis to ask any questions.
Yes, I would request a building location. Also if you want ground floor or second floor. No elevator.

The best way of making a room request is to phone reservations and have it noted on your reservation. Also 4-5 days before arrival send the room assignors a fax with your requests.
