Hi,
I hope someone here has a great idea as to how to remove rub-on transfers from a painted wall.

It was a cute idea when I first did it but now it's time to redecorate and I'm not sure how to go about removing them. Should I just paint over them?

I'd think, if they aren't raised at all, you could just put primer over them then paint over. If it is raised, you could sand it down then do the other steps.

I don't know if this will work or not, but I would try the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Sponge. DS wrote on every wall of our new house with a black sharpie, and it took it all off. :teeth:

I was going to suggest the magic eraser as well. I used it to take off stickers my DD put on her bedroom door  . It worked great.

Hmmm, I never thought of trying the Magic Eraser. I'm going to give that a whirl when I get home.

Thanks for the suggestion.
