How to put together a trip report?

THis is a silly question, but is there a page that explains the tips to putting together a trip report?
Mainly, how to...

Add pictures in certain spots?
Add links to posts so that the first post can send people to specific posts?

When adding a post, just have your cursor where you want to drop a picture.



Then go back to typing your report. You can even add the picture later if you want to type everything first.

With the pic above, make sure your cursor is at the black line, then click Attach Files and select the picture you want to upload. Then click thumbnail or full image. Big vs little picture.

To create a link to another post to jump to, you will need to "share" the post link then copy it:



In the picture, the share is the little triangle underlined and copy is the circled icon.

You can either paste the link directly or link from specific words using the link icon above. I can't get my toolbar to work on my phone though.

Is there a file size limit? some photos are not loading because the file is too big, but they are not any bigger than other pictures?

Hmm, I've never had a problem posting pics, though I usually just do screenshots. I searched attachment file size and found a question from 4 years ago similar to yours. Someone at the time said the limit was 1Mb, which seems really small for a picture file size. I don't know enough about this site to figure out where to find the answer if it's changed.
