I've got my DISigns all done and I've read on multiple threads about people printing at home or having a service print them such as shutterfly.

Mine are basic questions:

What size do most people print the images?

Do you just print these images as square prints then cut them out?

Thanks in advance!

I print mine as big as looks good, and then cut out. I just use plain card stock and stick adhesive magnets on the back.

I print on photo paper, using Word to position the pictures on the paper (thus deciding what size I want them to be. Some are full page, some are half a page or less.

Then I place it on the adhesive magnetic sheets and cut out (so the magnet is on the whole back of the picture).

You can also get inkjet printable magnetic paper. You print directly to it and then simply cut it out.

It works well with the newer ships. The older ships have a few more coats of paint and don't stick that well. We did have no problems on the Wonder, but did notice they didn't stick as good as they did on the Dream.

Ok great. So I can print at home and add magnets. I feel like most of these decorations are about the same size and never been before I'm just not sure. So 1/2 page sounds about right for most?

Yep. I buy the Avery brand magnetic sheets (5 for $11.99 at my Office Max) and then used their free online template to position my pictures and text and to preview it before printing on the magnetic paper.

I pint mine at Fedex Kinkos. I think it is about $1.50 for a full color shiny card stock print and then I attach in to a magnet sheet. The pictures come out much better than a inkjet print.

I print on regular photo paper and attach the to magnet paper. I get my magnet sheets from OrientalTrading.com, 12 sheets for 10.50 and they work great.

I print my designs on card stock and then just cut up old magnets and stick them to the back of the design.

This is all great, thanks!

My main question now is: what is the standard size that everyone is using?

5x7?
