How to pay parking fees at parks

I posted this question on the disney for families forum and didn't get any responses so I decided to try here with a different title to hopefully clarify my question.

We are driving down so we will need to pay the parking fee at the parks. What are the options to pay? Cash, credit card, gift card? I just wondered whether it would be worth getting one more gift card that we used for parking fees. Trying to earn some more fuelperks at giant eagle.

Thanks for all your help!:goodvibes

Are you staying on property?

As for payment options, not sure, I haven't had to pay in a long, long time.

Sorry! :upsidedow I forgot to say we are not staying on property so we have to pay the parking fee which I believe is $15.

We've always paid cash but I would be surprised if they did not take credit cards. I would definitely at least have cash just in case.

I've heard people say they paid with a credit card, but to me that would be more hassle than it's worth. Really better to just have the cash and hand it over, I think!

Ok cash seems to be easier and I like the idea of having exact change in envelopes. I just looked up on WDW's website and it said its $14 per day. Is that still correct?

Thanks everyone for your tips and help!

$14 is still correct at this time. Don't forget to get a receipt if you will be doing any park hopping, or leaving the park and returning later in the day, so you don't have to pay twice.

Ok thanks! We will keep the receipt since we plan to leave to chill out and come back in the evening.

We use credit cards.
It's the equivalent of exact change; very fast and easy. :cool1:
Good luck all,
Joe
