how to pay for checked luggage while using Magical Express...

Sorry the search feature isn't working for me. We usually fly SW where bags are free and sisbn't participate in the baggage return. (just carried bags onto the bus) Now this year we are flying united and would like to just leave teh bags at the hotel. How do we go about paying for our return luggage and using RAC?

magical express will put a card on your door the day before you check out and it will have a phone number on it to call and all instructions on what to do, basically the call is they will ask you how many bags you have then you pay bag fees with a credit card write down your confirmation number then go to the check in spot at you resort

That is accurate, but I found it very inconvenient. Don't forget to write the confirmation number down. The one that the phone call people give you. The checkin desk asked me for it.

People have been reporting on the boards lately that you can now pay your baggage fees right at RAC.

Three weeks ago we paid our baggage fees at RAC at the CBR, no problem.

well it was may 2009 when we did it and RCA said they cant do payments so maybe it changed since then

Rather than get into a 'he said, she said' issue here.....if you need to pay baggage fees and aren't sure if you can do it right at the RAC counter, just stop by and ask them, while they are open, well before your departure. Simple.

I have just written my conf number on the same sheet I was left, telling me the pickup time. That way, I have it all in one place.

so does RAC know to charge you the check in online fee as opposed to the airport fee??

our airline has tier pricing...its cheaper to pay online...

so do we do online check in and say we are NOT checking bags? then check them and pay the fee the next day at RAC??
