How to "mark" the stroller... and bag question

I am taking a double umbrella stroller for my kids- DS2, DD4. We have a yellow/gray jeep stroller, and I'm sure its a pretty popular one. . . so I know I need to mark it to find it easy. Any advice on what to use to mark it??
Also- when we leave it to get on a ride, should we take our backpack that will be hanging on the stroller or can we leave it? Obviously it won't have all our valuables in it- but diapers, food, snacks, etc....? We leave in 18 hours!!!! :cool1::banana::yay::cheer2::banana::cool1:

What about tieing one of those curly gift ribbons on the handle? Or find a fabric scrap and tieing it on the handle.

Go to somewhere like Walmart and get the ugliest most obnoxious do rag to tye on there. I bought a hot pink tie dyed one. It helped alot. They are cheap (less than $1), buy 2 just in case.

I agree with PP - find a "unique" bandana or something similar and tie it on the stroller. It should not be a problem. We used a stroller from Orlando Stroller Rental, and there was a ton of the same stroller everywhere. We didn't have a problem finding our stroller.

As far as the bag goes, I left our bag with the pull ups, wipes, etc (not valuble stuff) with the stroller when we went on rides and saw shows, and we never had a problem. I had a 2nd bag that had my wallet, camera and other valuables, but everything else stayed with the stroller.

Good luck & have fun!

We hot glued a piece of fabric to the back of the seat of ours. It was much easier to locate and we could take it off when we got home, no issues.

As for your bag. If it is underneath in a basket, I would say it would be fine. Just don't leave any valuables in it. We have done this many times without an issue. The only people to ever *touch* our strollers were castmembers moving them from one parking area to another.

I went down here on this board to the Creative Designs and there area a couple of designers that will create for you a "license"plate like design and then you just print them off and I laminated mine for our stroller.. They were cute and not too many had a "special" personalized tag. I must add here too, that your stroller may get moved during the time you wait or watch a show. But, all stroller for that ride/show are all kept together. We didn't have a problem finding our stroller. In fact, I had several nice compliments on our tag:)

I attach a luggage tag to our stroller. You can buy Scotch adhesive tags. I type our name, cell phone number and which hotel we're staying at on it. Ours is a special needs stroller so there aren't as many around but if it ever got moved I really want an id on it.

The best thing I can recommend is a big golf towel. It will already have a brass eyelet and hardware perfect for attaching to the stroller. I hung a bright blue Kentucky Wildcats golf towel on our stroller and it made it super easy to locate. Plus, the towel is handily for wiping you hands off after applying sunscreen, drying off a place to sit after a rain shower, or a million other uses.
Also, we had a backpack with the same items and always left it in the stroller with no problem. When we left the stroller, DW took her purse and I took the camera bag.

Go into the sporting goods section and get grip wrap. They have all different colors so grab something that contrasts and give it a wrap. And we have always left our backpack with our stroller and never had a problem.

I tied a bright yellow bandana on the bars of our stroller and it made it super easy to spot in the sea of black handled strollers. We left our back pack on the stroller and nothing happend to it, but we didn't have any valuables in it.

You might want to mark it under the seat where no one can see, with your name or something in permanent ink. That way if there is any question if it's missing, you can prove it's yours.

And I actually had a small Disney bag hanging from the stroller with my wadded up, wet rain poncho in it and someone took it while we were on a ride. I bet it didn't do them any good though!

We used adhesive tape to write our last name on the top of the sun canopy. We always left the stroller so that the name was visible; a bright, wide ribbon tied around the handle made it easy to spot among the masses of strollers.

We have a Jeep stroller. I printed out a big M in red since that is the first letter of my last name and taped it to the inside of the window on the cover. I also tied red ribbon on the handles so that anyone who grabbed it would feel the knots. I did not have any problems while we were there.

We used yellow electrical tape, we wrapped it around the legs (not a lot just a strip) and at the handle. I could see it from far away. We never had any issues with other guest moving or touching our stroller it was the staff that would move them around. Even if it was in a stoller parking area they would reorganize them over and over.

Clear plastic Ziploc bag taped to stroller handle (one gallon size)...

Put a new disposable diaper in it.

Pour in 1/2 can of Mountain Dew. :scared1:

No one will mess with your stroller.

I went over to the Creative Board several years ago and downloaded a stroller sign with some of the characters on it. I printed our last name on it and we tie it to the back of our stroller each visit with colorful curling ribbon. Makes it very easy to find when you come off rides and your stroller is in line with others.

We leave next week so I have tried these out yet but we bought a pinwheel to ziptie to the stroller and are going to try out a homeade stroller flag so we can see the stroller. I also bought some glow in the dark bracelets to put around the handle for the night.

I have a bright pink bandana that I wrap around the stroller handles (sometimes I also coordinate the bandana with holidays like orange for Halloween & red for Christmas). I also make the personalized stroller tags from the Creative Disign Forum and hang one from the back of the stroller (with our cell phone #). And I do mark the stroller with our name and # in a spot where no one would know it's there (if there's ever a confusion about 2 strollers looking alike, you have "proof" which one is yours). It ends up looking really cute and I have never had a problem finding our stroller even if a CM has moved it.

I don't generally leave our diaper bag but many do without issues. One note though about snacks - the squirrels are very cleaver and will go through your stroller to find food if they can smell it. I have one of those Munchkin Mugs for cereal/snacks hanging from my stroller and never thought twice about it until I was parking my stroller and noticed a squirrel trying to climb in the basket

I talked to a CM nearby who saw it and she mentioned that some squirrels have even been known to open zippers!!! So if you leave snacks, make sure they're well wrapped and not obvious to unwelcome "guests"... LOL
