Does anyone know what Teppan Edo puts on the meat and veggies as they are frying them? I’m craving Teppan Edo!

Honestly, not much.
Oil, butter, salt, pepper, and soy sauce - possibly some sesame seeds - can't remember 100%? The onion would also add flavor to the meat.
That would be my first guess. Most teppanyaki joints I've been to don't season much more than that, but the sauces on the table add a lot of flavor. A few joints I've been to really stress the butter.

Ok thanks. I’m going to try to make some.

We make something similar at home using an electric griddle and either Pam, a little oil, or a little butter. Fun when you are at home or eating outdoors. Or you can’t go out and have someone cook for you! Each person gets their plate of raw veggies ( we use onions, zucchini, mushrooms, eggplant etc) and meats/seafood. This is the sauce we use to dip the cooked morsels in. A bowl of rice too and yum.
2 tsp sesame seeds, 2 tsp sesame or salad oil, 1 tsp miso, 4 Tbsp soy sauce, 1 Tbsp sake or mirin (not necessary to add), 3 Tbsp sugar, 1 tsp grated garlic, dash pepper. Combine all and enough sauce for 2 people.
Just fyi, we aren’t talented enough to make it a spectacle to cook, we just eat!
