This will be dd's (7) first trip to WDW and I'd like to make it very special for her, so I was thinking how nice it would be to have balloon(s) (w/ her name and welcome from Disney written on it), her favorite Disney stuffed animal, and monogramed Mickey Mouse ears, already in the room waiting there for her when we first enter. She will be so thrilled. :cheer2:
We're traveling end of Sept, do you think they will still have the special Anniversay Gold Mickey ears? Do they cost more?

Thank you.

We want to do this for October.... want to have monogrammed ears for mil and the 2 boys and a basket of goodies in the room..... does the Disney Florist do all this? Will they get the mouse ears monogrammed?

BitsnBearsMom is referring to http://www.disneyflorist.com/
I just visited their site and they have various balloons, goodie baskets. In particular I like the "Disney Welcome" basket (comes w/ ears) but I too am wondering whether they would monogram the ears? Also, they didn't appear to have any "welcome" balloons or indvidual stuffed animals.

I got a basket from them in July. It was our first trip. I didn't see anything I really likes "as is" so when I called, I told them what I wanted. I wanted something with mickey mouse snacks, an autograph book and my daughter loves pooh.

What I got was a huge red tin shaped like Mickey Mouse's head full of Disney snacks. Pretzels, cookies, candy, an autograph book and pen, a stuffed Winnie the Pooh and a couple of other things. I can't remember off hand.

If you order, when you call, they can make changes to what they have available on the website. When we went to check in, they had it for us at the front desk, I forgot to have them hold it and put it in the room.

We try and always have something special waiting in the room for the kids. Last time we called WDW Florest and had special gifts for each child waiting in their room when we got there and it was a BIG hit!! if you are staying on property, you can also have the hotel Concierge do this for you too. It's always something very special for the family.

helenm29 - Is WDW florist same as Disney florist? Do you have the number of website of WDW florist (you can PM me if we're not allowed to post that info)
Will concierge arrange this for you even if you are not staying on concierge level?

Thank you.

Hey everyone. There is a lady who makes baskets and delivers them to your resort. She is so great, much better than Disney Florist!!!! You actually get to choose what goes in the basket! Here is her website:

www.peggyssweetsandmore.com

She was doing this a while back but had to stop for a little while due to family reasons, but now she is back up and running with a new website. I'm telling you, you will not be disappointed!!!

I am so excited that she is back in business!! She is so GREAT!! :cheer2:
